Summary: A good Book
Review: This book was absolutely wonderful. It gave me names of the people involved, it gave me dates of when things happened, and also backgrounds of the people in the book. Though I don't know how much of this novel is nonfictional, I thought Rinaldi told a great story. I am looking forward to continuing my search for more books about the trials and maybe more books by Rinaldi...

Summary: Good Book
Review: It's kind of sad that me a 16 year old would get a book for 9 - 12 but this book was great. I Didnt find it for 9-12 at all. I have been studing the salem witch trails for a long time. I Found this book to be truthful to the past. Anyone who likes to read abou witchs should pick this up though you might find it boring if you do not like the salem witch trail or the 1690's (which happen to be my faviorte time to read about)If you liked this you shoulf try reading WitchChild. But if you didnt and just picked it up because you like reading about witchs, ghost, try the circle of three by Isobel Bird. There are meany other great books out there. If you would like to talk about books/ wicca/ anything you may email or im bLACK cAT O02@aol.com anytime.

Summary: A great book
Review: A break with Charity:A story about thr salem witch trials, is a book that tells the story of the witch trials from the view point of 14 year old Sussana English. Ann Rinaldi obviosly put a lot of time and research into writing this book. If you haven't read it, you should!

Summary: i know..
Review: i know that most people think this was like the greatest book ever written....but it [was awful]. it was boring, it had potential. but it seemed that ann rinaldi rushed the book and i found the characters to be annoying and not worth reading about. i can't say I recommend the book because i don't- unless you happen to be one of those people that like boring, pointless books with bad endings. ^.^

Summary: Susanna's story about Salem
Review: The story is about a little girl named Susanna English who witnesses a circle of girls who are chanting what they want out of life, and acting like witches. A few days after she notices this because, the same girls cry out on people of the town of Salem. They accuse many of being witches and saying their spirits come and taunts them at night. This goes on for about two years, until Susanna comes forth and tells the people of Salem the truth about the girls. Over all, this book was not that bad. If you are looking for a fast read and something easy to understand, then this is your book. This is the first book I have read by Ann Rinaldi, and I hope it is not my last.

Summary: A Great Novel
Review: Wow! Ann Rinaldi has done it again! I loved reading this book. I have read other books by Ann Rinaldi, but i feel that this book it twice as good as the others. It showed how a entire community could fall apart just by one lie. It also showed the struggle of true love and family life durring the Salem Witch Trials. I felt that Susanna was a great character in this book. I was very suprised at her actions. She showed great courage and devotion to Johnathin by sticking with him and beleiving in true love even through the hard times. Again, I loved this book and cannot wait to read another one of Ann Rinaldi's work!

Summary: A GREAT BOOK!!!!!
Review: I had to read this book for a history assignment, and I thought for sure that it would be boring like the rest of my required reading. But I was very wrong! This book was so great. I am an extrememly picky reader, but I found that this book was so entertaining as well as informative and an easy read. It is very exciting and doesn't have any slow, boring parts. It is fun to read all the way through! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting, historical fiction book.

Summary: AWESOME!
Review: As a direct descendant from the Towne family, making me the 8th great grandniece of Rebecca Nurse, Mary Esty, and Sarah Cloyce, as well as Mary Bradbury, I was THRILLED to read this fictional book based on well researched fact. It was very enthralling watching the situation transpire from the young girls perspective. I also can appreciate the fact that she incorporated the lives of the real people who fell victims during the whole sorry business. Bravo....

Summary: Ok book
Review: I found this book to be enjoyable, but not the best book on the Salem Witch Trials I've read. I love to read and have read lots of books on the topic of the Salem Witch Trials and am quite knowledgable on this topic, but I found this book to be more fiction than truth so I would suggest this book for the purpose of an enjoyable read, but I would not suggest it to start learning about the Salem Witch Trials with. Other books that I enjoyed on this topic were The Diary of Sorcus Good: Child Witch of Salem by Rose Earnheart and The Crucible by Arthur Miller
