Summary: Wolf Tower
Review: This adventurous book will have you craving for more! Well, before I cut to my opinion let me tell you a bit about the book itself.
Claidi is a servant to this wretched princess Lady Jade Leaf, who is always complaining. So, Claidi is fed up with her and so is everyone else. Well, one day the hate pauses for a few moments. A mysterious balloon is found and shot to death. They retrieve a handsome young man with talent, looks, and charm. When the royal families question him he gives the oldest Lady a flower to which she understands something others don't. Lucky Claidi is chosen by the old woman to go on an adventure with this fine man whose name is Nemain. Together they go for an adventure that Claidi will never forget. Also, you get to read it from her thoughts from Her diary, so it is like you are with her all the way!
I Loved this book because it shows you that first impressions aren't has great as they seem, and that there really is no such thing as love at first sight. Claidi is like a hero to those who aren't outgoing and free willed. I look up to her for that and I think the author wrote a very good book! So, are you ready for the challenge? If you are then get the book now and READ!!!

Summary: Excellent
Review: This being the first book I had ever read by Lee, I didn't have much to go on concerning the author's style. I'm glad to say, though, that there was little disappointment in this book. Lee has written an exciting and fun read that I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't mind surprises, both good and bad, and a lot of adventure.

This book has opened me up to many of Lee's works of fiction and I'm pleased to say that she is now a favorite author of mine. If you ever have the chance to read this story, don't pass it up. Even if it turns out not to be one of the greatest things you ever read, I'm sure it'll be one of the better books that you remember fondly.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This book is AMAZING! Usually, I don't really like journals, because they don't always tell EVERYTHING that happens. But this book is a winner! I really loved it. Most of the time you forget that it's a journal. Claidi (although I'm not quite sure how that's pronounced) is awesome. I mean, she's not this amazing super-woman, sexy, beautiful, always-knows-what-to-do, ideal heroine. She's somehow real. Like someone you'd meet in the real world. She doen't know everything, and she has the same kind of thoughts other girls think. Yet she's cute, funny, and has sharp wit and bite. I like the other characters too. I like Argul, but it's like we don't know him that well. And he wasn't even IN the second book, which is a dissappointment. But, still these books are REALLY GOOD! I cant wait 'till the third one comes out.

Summary: Almost There
Review: This book was a great, fast-paced story. The humor entwined into its pages was also amazing. Still, there was something missing inside of it; I believe that the diary form of the book was part of the reason this story did not receive a five-star from me. I think that the author could have accomplished more from the story if she had written it in perhaps first-person, if not diary form. But if you are looking for simply an enjoyable, quick-read then this book is made for you

Summary: WONDERFUL book!
Review: This book was wonderful and well written. After reading it, I couldn't help but go back and read it again. This has to now be one of my favorite books. It has a lot of twists in the story, keeping your attention. It's written from the viewpoint of a maid/slave named Claidi, and her new adventures with a mysterious young man. They go to many interesting places, meeting strange and interestiong people, friends and Foes. This book is a must-read in my opinion. =)

Summary: A Story Worth Reading
Review: This is an awesome book. It's has love, adventure, and deceit. Claidi is a 16-year-old serving made at the House. She is in service to the brattiest, annoying, and most self centered princess ever. She steals a jorunal from her and that's where she writes these thoughts and this terrific story.
A visitor comes to the House. He leads her on a quest where she meets other people. This story was wonderful. Great for teenagers and those people who enjoy fairy tales.

Summary: Claidi is a great heroine
Review: This is the first in a series of books that revolve around a young girl named Claidi. Claidi has lived her entire life as an orphaned maid in the House, a town isolated from the outside world. Claidi has always been told that the world outside the House is full of poison and nearly impossible to live in. Her life changes when a handsome young man from the outside world is captured and imprisoned in the House. Claidi decides to rescue the man and they escape into the outside world.

I really liked this book but not quite as much as some of Tanith Lee's adult books. The world is very interesting and Claidi is a great heroine. I also liked the diary format the book is written in. I never really got too attached to any of the side characters but this will probably change in future books. The shocking twist at the end may turn a few people off but it also really separates this book from others like it. If you like YA fantasy/adventure then you should give this series a shot.

Summary: Absolutely teriffic!
Review: This story is wonderful, if you really enjoy fantasy with a twist of romance and deseption then you will love this book. Claidi is a servant in a horrible place called the HOUSE and has lived all her life there being hit and cracked on the hands when she does something wrong and sometimes she hasn't even done something. Then one day something incredible happens a stranger from the desert area called the WASTE comes in search for Claidi. Claidi feels enchanted by this stranger and escapes with him to the WASTE and finds that it really isn't a waste as the House calls it. On her way to Neiman's (enchanting stranger) city she lives through some horrible disasters. In one of them she is rescued by a group of so-called bandits called the Hulta. The Hulta's leader Argul, ends up realizing that Claidi is the woman who is right for him, but i'm not going to tell you how he figures this out that would just spoil the story. Argul ends up asking Claidi to stay with the Hulta and Claidi really considers staying with him. But then the enchanting Neiman saunters in and convinces her to go on with him to his city and the Wolf Tower. When she arrives she finds out that Neiman is already married, and she is to be the Wolf Paw or keeper of the law of the Wolf Tower. Then Argul cames and rescues her and takes her back to the Hulta. It's funny, romantic, and a little breath taking at a few moments. I really sugest you read it.
