Review: Wonderful story of an inquisitive brother and sensitive sister who magically get transported back to Cretaceous times in a unique treehouse. My seven year old was eagerly awaiting every new page, and can't wait to read the next in the series.

Summary: A great series!
Review: Yeah! A series of books that will captivate all of my children from the youngest (age 6) to the oldest (age 12), so we can still enjoy our bedtime "group read." And even better - one that I enjoy reading to them! Oh, and it gets even better - the books even teach about different times and places in history! (I have to add a recommendation for you of my favorite new parenting book: Perfect Parenting: The Dictionary of 1000 Parenting Tips - very helpful!)

Summary: Popular series but not our favorite
Review: You can't deny the kid appeal of this series. Despite their popularity my children enjoy them but don't clamor for the next volume as they do with some books.

As an adult reader (and maybe as a child) you may find the dialogue drives you insane...which is what I find. There is only so much

"Yeah," she said.
"Okay," he said.

that I can take in a book. And the treehouse books do it repeatedly. If you can deal with that you may really enjoy these--most children do.
