Rating: Summary: Magic Treehouse Books Are Terrific!! Review: This first of the Magic Treehouse series is a wonderful book to read to young children interested in the concept of time travel. Jack and Annie must travel through time and gather clues while on a mysterious mission which lasts several books. Annie is a good role model for young girls; she's bold, brave and independent. Her older brother Jack is slower to react and is more a researcher than a leader in their adventures. There is suspense enough to thrill 4-8 year olds but the tension is not extended for long enough that it is actually scary. My six-year old looks forward to the next book with great anticipation, and his enthusiasm for reading has increased incredibly. He insists that we read one a day! Here's hoping Mary Pope Osborne doesn't run out of ideas anytime soon...

Rating: Summary: My 5-year old daughter cannot get enought of this series! Review: This is truly a fun series to read to my five year old. Each has a "scary" element (that isn't so scary)and they really keep her interest. There is no surer way to get her to PROMPTLY change into pajamas and brush her teeth, than to tell her we won't be able to read the next two chapters of the Magic Tree House if she doesn't hurry!
Rating: Summary: Dinosaurs in the tree house Review: This story is about a brother and a sister. The brother¡¦s name is Jack. Jack is eight and a half. He likes real things. Jack¡¦s sister¡¦s name is Annie. Annie is seven years old. She likes fake things/likes to pretend to be things. They live in Frog Creek. One day, they discovered a tree house. The tree house was very high. There was a rope ladder. The rope ladder was very long. Inside, the tree house was filled with books. Jack noticed some bookmarks that were sticking out of some books. They looked out of the window. They could see the Frog Creek library, the elementary school, the park, their house, and their neighbor's dog. Then, Annie showed a book to Jack. The book was about dinosaurs. Jack opened the book and turned the page to where the bookmark was. He saw that the page was about a dinosaur with big bat-like wings and a skinny back. The dinosaur¡¦s name was a Pteranodon. Then Jack said ¡§I wish I could see a real live Pteranodon.¡¨ Then, they saw a dinosaur. And that dinosaur looked like a Pteranodon. It flew everywhere. Then, The tree house started to spin, spinning faster and faster. And then it stopped. They were still in the tree house. But it was not the same tree. They could see a great land. The Pteranodon was under the tree house. Jack took notes on Pteranodons and Triceratops. Jack found a medallion. On the medallion was the letter M engraved on it. Annie found a valley. There was a mother dinosaur, watching the eggs. Jack found out that the dinosaur¡¦s name was an Anatosauruses. Only a single Anatosauruses watched over the eggs. Then they saw a monster ¡V a T-rex. They were very scared. Jack forgot his backpack. When he reached the tree house, he hurried back to get his backpack. But when he got his backpack, he discovered that he couldn¡¦t run to the tree house because in front of him was a T-rex. The T-rex had returned. Behind Jack was an Anatosauruses. The Anatosauruses was protecting its eggs, and some babies. So Jack waited, but the T-rex saw him. The T-rex slowly walked closer. Then Annie pointed something to the Pteranodon. The Pteranodon flew to Jack, and carried Jack to the tree house. Jack made a wish. He wished to go back to Frog Creek. When they reached Frog Creek, Jack told Annie about the medallion. Jack is clever and careful. Annie is bold and likes animals. If they go together, they will be very good. I feel that this tree house is very special and the tree house¡¦s master is also very special too, because it/(he) had magic. The tree house can take people into the stories. But there is one thing that changes in the story. That is, the people who make the wish, their things, the tree house, and the tree house¡¦s books, will into to the story.

Rating: Summary: Exciting, fun, adventurous, scarry, and interesting. Review: When I read this story about the dinosaurs, I was so surprised to two little kids would do this in real life. My favorite part was when the boy flew on the pterodon and they say the baby dinosaurs. That was so interesting that I wanted to read it every single night even though it was late. I can't wait until you have a new story to read. I love seeing the pictures; I think they are beautifully drawn. I'm thinking about becoming three things: an author, an artist and a veterinarian. I think you should write a story about Hawaii and also a story about when George Washington became the first President. Thank you for writing these books; I love them. Goodbye; thank you for writing them. JV
Rating: Summary: Dinosaurs Before Dark Review: When Jack and Annie were in the dinosaur age they experienced dinosaurs close up. I like when Jack and Annie try to eat the grass so the T Rex won't chase them. Will they be able to find the gold medallion? Will they discover who "M" is? Read it to find out!
