Summary: WOW
Review: This book lets people know that we can always go to our Savior and he will help us because his opinion is the only one that matters most. I love this book. Brings tears to my eyes and so wonderful!!!

Summary: The way the Father sees his children!!!
Review: The story was truly a tear jerker!! It illustrates the meaning of the love of God for each of his children. He sees us how he made us not how the world sees us, and thats the importance of this book. A book everyone needs to read and share with everyone!!!!!!!

Summary: The best birthday gift I could ever give my daughter!
Review: I came upon this book by chance (or so I thought !) but now I realize it was the Spirit at work !! At a time when my teenage daughter needed to hear these words the most, I was able to give her this book. Although she is 16, it has become one of her most cherished books, as it daily reminds her that she TRULY is special - to her father and I, but even more importantly, to her Heavenly Father - no matter what cuel remarks others may make to her throughout her teenage years. I also read this book as a prayer service with adults in my parish at a Christian Formation meeting . Trust me when I say, it's not just a kids' book - it has meaning for everyone.

Summary: Great Lesson!
Review: I enjoyed this book and great deal and I enjoyed reading it to my children ages 3 and 5. It is a message for young and old alike. Although I didn't think my children were old enough to really get the message, they did! Great book!!

Summary: The best book I've ever read!
Review: Not just for children. This book speaks to everyone.

Summary: You are dreadful!
Review: This book is a cheap rip-off of The Sneeches and The Warm Fuzzies and Cold Pricklies. It is corny and contrived. If I lived in this land, and this book came up to me, I would put a dot on it.

Summary: I am 21 yrs. old and this book brought me to tears.
Review: This book was very awesome to think God can love you so much if you just put your trust in him and spend time with him daily. God can wipe away all the scars of what people have said to you and make you brand new and love who you are in Christ.

Summary: A great reminder of whose opinion really matters!
Review: Max Lucado does a super job of reminding the reader of whose opinion really matters in this life. The Wemmicks just don't seem to know better. They go around deciding who's special and who's not by the clothes they wear or the words they speak or even if someone else thinks they're special. Fortunately for Punchinello, Lucia has already gotten to know her maker, the woodcarver Eli, and she knows the secret to happiness in life. Lucia points Punchinello in the right direction and in the process reminds the reader to not always be so caught up in what other's think but instead to think about what God thinks . . He created us . . It's His opinion that matters. Great book but not just for kids. Adults are really the ones it's written for, if you ask me!

Summary: Everybody needs to read this wonderful book.
Review: I feel so lucky that I had the chance to read this book. I don't have kids and seldom think of looking at children's books. But a mom friend showed it to me and we both cried as we read it together. It's a book for children of all ages. The text and illustrations just shine with love, and everybody needs to hear the messages of self-acceptance and self-esteem in this book. I'm buying copies of it for Xmas gifts for my favorite aunt, my favorite child friend, and my therapist.
