Review: This is the book my four-year-old son wants to hear every night. He loves every kind of farm story, but this is his hands-down favorite. And will wonders never cease, after about a year of nightly readings, I'm not even sick of it (although I can recite it front to back).

Review: This translation is not the best one I've used but works well for younger crowds. It rhymes on some pages but not all which makes for a somewhat awkward read the first time around. With a little practice, though, the book is wonderful to use in a Spanish language storytime. The story is very simple as are the pictures so it could be used for toddler and preschool age groups. The book would also be good for those just starting to read in Spanish since many of the words are basic and the text is somewhat sparse.

Summary: The Best!
Review: This was my son's favorite book at around age 2. We used it as a night-night book saying good night to all the animals before going to bed. I have a tape of him at age 2 "reading" the book all by himself! The rhythmn and rhyme are beautifully written making it fun for the reader and listener , as well.

Summary: Wonderful book!
Review: This was one of my kids' favorite books as preschoolers! It goes through the day in the life of farm animals wiht wonderful illustrations that lend themselves to "can you find the......." games as you read. I will be keeping this book for the grandbabies I hope to have one day!

Review: Wonderful story of small but impt events going on in the barn. the different animals travelling out to the field playing with each other then back to the barn at the end of the day. a real sense of family and closeness among the farm animals.i have read this story over and over and over to my little boy
