Review: I think the book Because of Winn-Dixie, by Kate Dicamillo, was one of the best books written. It covers many subjects and the book has a part for everyone to relate to.
One of the subjects it covers is sinning. When the lady, Gloira Dump tells Opal about her sinning tree. It was a tree that had hanging wine and liquar bottles on strings off of the branches. Each bottle counted for a time she sinned. In real life, each bottle could count for a time someone killed a person or when someone had a baby at a young age or even if someone beat another person the loved because they were drunk or high. the tree was a constent reminder of what a persons life was like so far and it would make them think twice about doing things like that again.
Another subject the book covers is determination and love for something. This is the part I related to. The Determination of Opal to let her father keep the dog and the determination she took to get a job so she could pay off a leach and coler she wanted fo Winn-Dixie. Also, when Winn-Dixie got lost,Opal's determination and love to her dog became stronger than ever. When she did not find her dog she went home and found him under a chair and was not mad because she went out for nothing. In the end She only cared that Winn-Dixie was safe.
So in conclusion the book, Winn-Dixie is a book for everyone to read. Don't think i gave you all the exsiting parts of the book, there are still many more so go and get the book Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate Dicamillo.

Review: A delightful story for grown-ups or kids. I laughed until I cried at parts. Especially if you have ever owned or known an Irish Wolfhound, you best get this book.

Review: Opal and her father, the preacher, live in a trailer park. Opal just moved to Florida and has a hard time making friends. Then one day Opal is sent to the Winn-Dixie grocery store to buy: macaroni and cheese, some white rice and two tomatoes. When Opal
goes to the grocery, on the floor there are fruits and vegetables rolling around! Then Opal sees a dog. The dog looks like it's having a good time. Just when the manager is going to
call the pound Opal claims that it's her dog and then names it Winn-Dixie after the grocery store.

Winn-Dixie is Opal's new friend. They have lots of adventures together. This is a funny part in the book: when Opal goes to the library, Ms. Franny the libraran looks out the window and sees Winn-Dixie but she thinks he is a bear!

I think the book has a really good ending and I would reccomend this book to people who like dogs and otherwise.

Review: I think Because of Winn-Dixie is very good and I gave it 5 stars because of the people in it. Where she meets the dog and that was at the place Winn-Dixie was at and she was geting some food for her dad that she celled the
preacher because he was a preacher.But India Opal Buloni the
little girl did not know much about her mother because her dad the preacher did not tell her much about her and she do not know
that her mother walked out on her and the preacher because she was little.And if you will like to know her dog got his name it is where she got his,so that means that her dogs name is Winn-Dixie.

Review: I think Because of Winn-Dixie is a really good book. What I really liked was the part with the tree with the bottles on it to keep the gost away.I also liked it when Opel went in the store and found the dog Winn-Dixie. Cause when you read this book, you don't want to put this book down!It is such a good book I just loved it! We could only read a little at a time.But I just wanted to keep reading it! What I am saying is if you are looking for good book,than you need to read this book!

The reason I liked it is because I love animals, and she has a dog named Winn-Dixie.I am in the 5th grade and so was India Opal Buloni.I love to go to pet stores. She worked in one.I have a black and brown dog.(...)The girl in the story has a dog that is black and brown.Her dog is a boy,her dog is really scared of thunderstorms.My dog is not scared of tornadoes but howls at the sirens.

Review: I think that Because of Winne-Dixie was a wonderful book.I thought that it deserved 5 stars.I really liked how the setting was in the grocrey store.India Opal Bolgana Where she walks in and the manager says call the dog pound and the little girl acts like it's her own dog and she thinks of a name real quick and calls him Winnie-Dixie and he came right back to her.

Review: this book is awesome i could not put it down i love childrens books, i was shopping in winn dixie and this book caught my eye, i decided what the heck so i bought it and read in a hour, i laughed cryed and just plain loved it i can not wait to shre it with my step son and my nephews they will reall enjoy it...you have got to read it
