Rating: Summary: Recommended to all Review: This book was on our recommended reading list for school. My 2 year old likes it; even if she has absolutely NO idea what is going on. She thinks the elephants skating on raspberry jam are "silly." The book is set to rhyme and is divided into berries with a little story of a boy and a bear and their love of the berries. "One berry, two berry, pick me a blueberry..." the colors are bold and there are animals all over the page. The scenery has marshmallows, pats of butter and all sorts of stuff in the background. The colors are great and the story is entertaining and very imaginable. Get it today!
Rating: Summary: an instant berry hit!!! Review: This one is a bestseller for a reason--it has the right combination of clever rhyme and joyful rhythm, detailed artwork, and delightful humor. My 14-month-old loved this one immediately--I've chosen to warble my way through the rhymes for him, and he loves it. Can I add anything else that hasn't already been said? Just buy this book--it's a classic.
Rating: Summary: Jamberry Jam Review: Great book but it is even better with the tape. One side of the tape is the story and the other side has the story as a song with a really catchy tune. Once you hear it you will never forget it. It was very popular in my classroom.
Rating: Summary: A Berry Blast..... Review: Come join a little boy and his very endearing bear friend as they travel through berryland, on a "razzamatazzberry" adventure of a lifetime, picking and eating and playing together. Bruce Degen fills this entertaining treasure of a book with lively and joyous wordplay, alliteration, and high-spirited fun, and complements his jazzy, rhyming verse with bright, bold, and engaging illustrations. Imaginations will soar with each page turn as little ones explore the busy artwork, finding something new and special each time they open the book. Perfect for preschoolers, Jamberry is a marvelous mouth-watering, toe tapping, energetic, romp that begs to be read aloud, and is sure to send you off to the kitchen for a jamberry snack of your own. This is a classic to share with family, friends and future generations. "Mountains and fountains/Rain down on me/Buried in berries/What a jam jamboree!"
Rating: Summary: Berry Berry Good!!! Review: This book is my 2 year old's favorite book. The rhyme and wording brings my daughter into a trancelike state. She loves it.
Rating: Summary: Make this book your collection Review: What I love about this book is that you'd be mesmerized with the beautiful and colorful illustrations. The drawings and the colors are beautiful to look at which serves the purpose of getting and holding the children's attention. With simple text on each page, it is definitely suitable for babies too. The drawing on each page depicts the fun of being outdoor, exploring the nature and appreciating one of nature's best gifts - Berries. Don't be surprised if suddenly your child grows to love berries because from the beginning till the end, the pages are filled with berries, berries, berries.
Rating: Summary: Clairby's Favorites Review: Both Mommy and Baby love this book. It has a very catchy rhyme-scheme that keeps our toes tapping. We also enjoy the artwork. Who would have thought that berries could be so much fun?
Rating: Summary: Just as much fun for the reader Review: I just love reading this book to my one-year-old daughter. Kids love books that rhyme and this one is particularly fun to read. Each page has great illustrations and so much to look at. I can only read board books to my daughter because she loves to grab at the pages. This is my favorite board book and my daughter never complaints when I read it to her over and over again!
Rating: Summary: Colorful Illustrations Review: I love the friendly looking bear and his crazy antics, but beyond the whimsical illustrations there isn't much to this book. Simple text but the illustrations are the best part of the book.
Rating: Summary: Possibly the best childrens book ever written. Review: This book is so classic, and I can't imagine rasisng children without it. This book, as I look back at it, gives me such a trip back to when I was in kindergarten. It's rythym is easy for children to pick up on, and its illustrations are dripping with color and imagination. It is a perfect book for kids to sit with you and read. You must own this book! It is as nessacary as many childrens "blankies". Don't try and give your children generic books. They will love this book (so will you)!
