Rating: Summary: I Wish My Cows Could Type This Review Review: Click Clack Moo Cows That Type is a funny and charming story about one group of very literate farm yard cows. They send letters to Farmer Brown demanding electric blankets because It's cold at night in the barn. When Farmer Brown ignores the demands of his well read cows they rebel by refusing to give any more milk and go on strike. A stand off ensues. A pragmatic duck becomes the go between for the two sides. Bright and silly illustrations accompany this clever story. Children will delight in this conflict of literary proportions.
Rating: Summary: Humor with a lesson Review: Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type teaches a great lesson about compromise in a humorous way. Everyone in the family will love it, regarless of age. I can't wait to read the next one, Giggle, Giggle, Quack.
Rating: Summary: If You Like Cows That Type, Then This Is Your Kind of Book Review: I don't know about you, but I have never ever in my life known any cows that type. That's the funniest thing I've ever heard of! You've got to read this book, Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin. In this story, the cows are just about running out of patience, so they go on strike. This book has enough laughs for the whole family. I loved this book and I love the Illustrations.

Young students and older ones will enjoy the witty writing and learn from the compromise. The colorful illustrations keep the listener's and/or reader's eye. A very worthwhile purchase.
Rating: Summary: You Have to Give a Little to Get a Little Review: I love this book and so do the Kindergarten children I teach. This book is filled with a lot of humor which children can enjoy. It is a book that definitely fits in a Farming Unit. This book is a wonderful resource to use to introduce letter formats and encourage children to write and illustrate. It is a must have to include in a library collection for young readers.
Rating: Summary: HYSTERICAL!!! Review: a totallly fun, silly romp. it's second one GIGGLE GIGGLE QUACK is equally as fabulous. If you just want to share some fun with your youngster (and I think you'll love it, too!) this is the book to buy. Funny illustrations, too.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious for kids and adults Review: While this book is ostensibly for kids, the humor is subtle and the adult reading it aloud will be entertained, too. Clever plot and amusing demand letters written by the disgruntled farm animals keeps everyone's attention. The illustrations are colorful and lively. Everyone in the family -- lawyer mom and dad, and kids ages 6, 4, and 1 -- finds something to enjoy about this silly, yet sophisticated book. A fun read for all!
Rating: Summary: hilarious read for kids and parents Review: This story was featured on the PBS show "Between the Lions." I thought that it was hilarious, so I put the book on my kids' Christmas list. The illustrations are big and bright. The story is clever. There are some concepts that small kids won't necessarily get right away. These same concepts will make Mom and Dad appreciate it even more. This is fun for everyone.
Rating: Summary: My Son's Favorite Review: I bought this book based on the recommendation of a friend. I have never been sorry! This book is one of my son's favorite--he is always begging me to read "Moo, Mommie, Moo!". Considering it has been his favorite for months and he is not yet two, the age recommendation is not necessarily accurate. Children of all ages will love this book for a long time! Between this and the sequel, "Click, Clack, Quack!", my son has also learned many of the animals sounds. I highly recommend buying both for hours of entertainment!
Rating: Summary: Expressive watercolor AND an amusing story Review: Those low-star reviewers need to either get a life or a sense of humor. Anyone who enjoys children's literature will find the watercolors appropriately expressive (they don't ALL have to be David Eisner or Maurice Sendak, right?). And the story is a lark, because children respond to it. OK, so the repetitive "Click, Clack" thing is wearing when said aloud, but c'mon, a lot of kids stuff has a tiresome element for "adults". And please give me a break, you paranoid anti-untionists! This is good clean farm-themed fun and children enjoy it.
