Summary: Great Book!
Review: CLICK, CLACK, MOO COWS THAT TYPE is outstanding. Doreen Cronin's snappy and punchy writing makes for a great read aloud! The surprise ending is crafty too! As a classroom resource, students can study onomatopoeia, letter writing and surprise endings. Teachers! Have your students take on the voice of another farm or zoo animal and write a letter demanding some creative luxury too! Betsy Lewin's pictures work well with the text. She even provides an artist's note about how she accomplished the effects in the book! All around, a unique and creative picture book!

Summary: Chickens, cows, ducks, and tricks
Review: (...)...

It's a funny book. I think it's funny because the cows and the
chickens trick Farmer Brown into giving them electric blankets
with help from the ducks by trading the typewriter for the
electric blankets. And then the ducks write notes with the
typewriter instead of giving it to Farmer Brown.

Summary: My 18 month old daughter simply ADORES this book!!!
Review: We got this book out of a Cheerios' box during a literacy promotion sponsored by General Mills, and it has become my daughter's favorite. She is just learning to talk, and the simple language in Click Clack Moo is wonderful. Her grandparents and I read to her every day, any book she wants (she really does choose on her own) and ever since we got this book it has been the only one she wants you to read.

3-4 times every day she walks into the room with her blanket in one hand and this book in the other, saying "CLACK CLACK" then climbs into any empty lap to have the book read to her. Once one person is finished reading it, she climbs into the next lap to have it read once again.

This book has been read so many times it is falling apart (it is a simple paper-back with only 2 staples holding it together) and it is time to buy a new one, but since we love it so much I have decided to purchase Giggle Giggle Quack and Duck for President for her also.

Summary: Cute, cute book!
Review: Boy, is this funny! Cows that type that want electric blankets. Hens that put in their request as well and go on strike with the cows when Farmer Brown says no. He gives in for the return of the typewriter, gives them the blankets, and waits for duck to return the typewriter. Duck decides to keep it and demand a diving board for the "boring" pond. Just a very cute and entertaining story for little ones. We read it almost every night twice and it's just hysterical. Clack, clack, Moo!

Summary: Animal Rights vs Farmer Brown
Review: Farmer Brown's troubles begin when he finds out that his cows not only have a typwriter, but also can type! When their simple demands are not met, they form a union with the hens and go on strike. As both Farmer Brown and his animals refuse to budge an inch, a duck shows up and offers an easy solution of compromise to both sides. The cows will give the typewriter back via the duck and the farmer will give his animals electric blankets.

Everyone is happy and Farmer Brown thinks everything is back to normal. The threat of chaos returns when the sneaky duck does not return the typewriter and instead sends him a letter on behalf of the ducks on the farm...

You will have to read Giggle Giggle Quack, to find out what happens next!

A funny book from pre-school to adults with large illustrations, large type and a story that flows well for even those little ones with a short attention span.

Summary: Fun for all - little and big
Review: This is a story everyone loves in my household. Fun and interesting.

Summary: Click Clack moo
Review: This book and the two sequels, "Giggle, Giggle, Quak", and "Duck For President" are verry funny! I didn't really care for her book "A Worm Diary". It was different, and not really funny. I hope she writes more books like "Cows..." and "Duck...".

Summary: Don't let your typewriter get out of your sight.
Review: Take it from Farmer Brown who soon discovers that typewritters and cows do not mix, at least not to his liking. The cows make several demands and Farmer Brown is not pleased. He is really not pleased when he finds he has to meet these demands and others that follow.
This book was a sure fire hit for toddlers, pre-schoolers and especially the adults. I think this was the most checked out book when I worked at the library!

Summary: If a cow can do it, so can I!
Review: Farmer Brown's cows love typing. They also love to be on strike and when they don't get the blankets they deserve they do both. But first they must let Farmer Brown know their needs. A heated blanket for the cold, cold nights. The Farmer, like many employers do, refuses to give them warmth, so they type another note saying, "Sorry. We're closed. No milk today." The picture shows Brown's shadow pitching a fit when he reads the note(tyrant).

The chickens learn from the cows and and get them to write another letter saying that they want electric blankets too. This makes Brown furious. So he writes his own letter. Let me just say that hes not giving in to the demands of some chickens and cows.

We musn't forget the duck, who plays a nuetral party in the story(at least for now), because he is the faithful delivery boy. He gives each party a typed letter everytime Brown or one of the cows have a messeage to give one another. I just want to congratulate the unsung hero of this story, Duck.

After, awile Farmer Brown recieves his letter from the cows. It tells that if Farmer Brown give the cows and chickens blankets then they will give him the typewriter. He agrees that this is a good deal and makes the trade. This, of course, means the end of our story is near, almost

Make your child somewhat political and read this book to them. Finally one for the working man(or cow).
