Summary: Cool idea, but not very sturdy
Review: Although the colors and illustrations on these blocks are fun, the cardboard itself doesn't hold up well to a teething baby. My one year old chewed one of the blocks, exposing the brown cardboard underneath, within minutes the first time she played with these. They just aren't as durable as some of her other board books. I've put them away for now; just until she is less orally fixated.

Review: I bought this book for my 18 month old. Good things I can say about this book: It must taste good because he likes to nibble on the cardboard books. The box it comes in is great, another container to fill and carry. Not so good things about this book: The pages are hard for his little hands to turn, sticking together most of the time. The illustrations and colors are somewhat drab and dull. If you're looking for a toy I might recommend it - but not as a book.

Review: I bought this book for my son who loves to sing the alphabet and is 21 months and learning lots of words. We love this book! He knows almost every single word in each letter book. The illustrations are cute and very accurate. i would highly recommend this book to 15months to 2 years. It is a great tool to learn new words.

Review: I just sent this present to my niece. My sister in law tells me that Alex, 27 mos., who is normally only interested in books if she can bite them, is fascinated by this toy--it is the first things she plays with when she wakes up and the last thing she plays with at night. I guess the book blocs are so simple that don't overtax her attention span, but still have the quality of being books. Apparently she has learned to recognize several letters in only a week! And the price was right.

Review: I OPENED THE BOX AND WAS AMAZED AT THE COLORFUL CARRIER FOR THE FANTASTIC BOOKS INSIDE. THE COLORS ARE BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL, THE CHARACTERS ARE CUTE, THE SIZE OF THE BOOKS ARE JUST RIGHT FOR LITTLE HANDS, AND THE LETTERS ARE PERFECT FOR SOUNDING OUT THE PICTURES SHOWN INSIDE. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 19 MO. OLD GRANDDAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER REACTION AND DO THE BOOKS WITH HER, READIND AND STACKING THEM AND KNOCKING THEM DOWN. THE ONLY PROBLEM WILL BE KEEPING HER 4 YR OLD BROTHER FROM CLAIMING THEM FOR HIMSELF! I READ SOME OF THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS THAT WERE A BIT NEGATIVE SOMETIMES BUT I SAY GO FOR THIS 5 STAR ITEM...I'D GIVE IT A 10 STAR RATING IF I COULD!

Summary: Great learning tool to spell.
Review: I order these for our two grand daughters(ages 4&5).
Kayla who is in kindergarden just loves putting the books together to spell her name and other words.Ally just adores them they fit in her tiny hands and finds learning from her sister very easy with these cute story book type blocks.See each book has a letter on it and inside shows different things that start with that letter on the back side is a item that starts with that letter.Which makes learning fun.The box makes storage easy.

Review: I purchased this when it first came out. Overall, it is a good value. The box containing the 26 chunky, little boardbooks is very colorful and sturdy. It looks great on a toy/bookshelf. However, I was not as impressed with the color and illustrations used in the books. I would never have purchased these particular books at a bookstore if they were sold separately. I have a feeling that my son will end up stacking these books more than he will open them to read.

Summary: Nice books, but they completely fall apart
Review: I really enjoyed the product for a month or so with my 20 month old daughter, but soon after they began to fall apart, first the "pages" tore away from the cover, and then even the pages themselves fell apart. I'd stick with more traditional books or blocks.

Review: I sent these to my new grandson in England (who I've not seen). My son says the books are very good. One for each letter of the alphabet. Colors are bright. Later on, he can stack them like blocks. Good purchase. They will be used for months to come.

Summary: Pretty good price for a lot of entertainment
Review: I think this is a great deal - 26 books for less than a dollar a book. I've already given this to a couple of families with babies and they love it. Also, the box is not your average piece of throwaway packaging. Like Eeyore with the balloon and the empty honeypot, babies love to take the books out of the box and put them back in again. It's sure better than pulling all the books out of your bookcase onto the floor, another favorite activity for this age! Unlike the other review, I think the illustrations are cute and colorful, but as always, that's a matter of taste.
