Summary: Buy this book!!! See your toddler dance, skitter, & prance!
Review: This is my favorite book. You know, I think my toddler loves it too.

This is a great read, as you call out a barnyard squaredance, your toddler will love to act it out.

Very creative, with fun familiar animal names and a variety of actions (bow, clap, skitter, scramble, prance, slide) and a few good animal noises

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun and energetic
Review: My son absolutely loves this book. He's 11 months old and makes me read it every day. It's read as a song and he loves to clap in unison as I'm reading to him. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Summary: Dancing animal book is a winner with my 1 year old son!
Review: My son Ian is now 17 months old and during his short lifetime, my wife and I have bought Ian many books for him to read and enjoy. One of Ian's alltime favorite books is Sandra Boynton's "Barnyard Dance."

There are several reasons why Ian loves this particlar book. First, Ian loves Sandra Boynton's whimsical animal illustrations. To see a cow or a pig or a mouse done a la Boynton never fails to elicit a giggle from Ian.

Second, the story has a nice rhyme and cadence to it. Kids seem to love a book that flows well.

Finally, what Ian really likes about this book is the way Ms. Boynton has the animals dancing and prancing about. My wife taught Ian to "dance" the way the animals in the story dance and everytime we read the book, Ian always follows along by dancing and prancing just like the animals. It is priceless.

Summary: This book is sure to get some giggles!
Review: This book was one of the first we purchased for our seven month old daughter. Every time we read it , we act out the dances and our daughter's face is all smiles. We know that her adorable giggle will be heard by the end of the book. The rhythm and animal sounds keep our daughter's attention. The book is just the perfect length to be memorized and recited at any time to make a fussy baby smile.

Summary: This is my kids FAVORITE book!
Review: I have a four, three and a two year old and this is hands down their favorite book! They love to act out the words (bounce with the bunny, slide with the sheep). I highly recommend this!

Summary: A wonderful book for young kids
Review: This is indeed a very interesting book for young children. The rhymes are catchy with very cute illustration of the banyard animals. As you read along to the children, you will get into that cheerful and whacky mood as the animals and you really want to dance with them too!

Summary: We love this book!!!
Review: I bought this book when my 10 1/2 month old daughter was 5 months old and I wasn't reading to her yet but wanted to start. I bought it because I thought it was a riot, but the real fan is my daughter. It's the absolute favorite. I've read this book so many times, I can now recite it from heart which has come in handy during fussing and long shopping excursions. The opening stanza never, ever fails to bring a beaming smile to her face. Moo, Baa, LaLaLa is next on the shopping list.

Summary: Great Book! I makes my son smile from ear to ear.
Review: I bought this book the other day along with Moo, Baa, La La La! I read them both to my 10 week old son and he smiled from ear to ear. The colors of the pages and the pictures capture his gaze and seem to hold his interest for a few seconds. The books have become a part of our evening ritual.

Summary: Kids and adults alike love this book!
Review: I've had great reviews by singing the content of this book to the tune, "Turkey in the Straw." I know of no other kid's book that gets the kind of raves that this one does from the wee folks and the big folks as well. And, I don't have any children, either (just lots of young friends)! Buy a copy, sing along, you won't be disappointed!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun Reading!
Review: The rhyme, rhythms, and pictures of this short story make this fun reading for my child. My daughter likes to dance to this story.
