Summary: Fun to Read!
Review: My 16 month old daughter loves all of the Boynton books. But, this is my favorite one to read to her. It is so fun!

Summary: A Children's Classic!
Review: This book has very nice rhythm that makes it very enjoyable for 3-year-old toddlers. This book reminds me of one that I recently bought called "One, Two, Three: This Book's for Me" by Stuart Samuel, which also has a distintive cadence. Both books center on farm features and imaginery. Both are excellent.

Summary: Vickie Clough's Review of Barnyard Dance
Review: This is my 3 year old son's FAVORITE story; it stands out for him amidst literally hundreds of options. He prefers Barnyard Dance to all other books we own. I enjoy the rythm of the lyrics, the artwork and the general overall feeling of the book-- its HAPPY!

Summary: Gave my daughter a GREAT start!
Review: I believe this book was instrumental in making my daughter a reader. The cadence you achieve when reading it is catchy. My daughter is six years old now and I still have the book going through my head. We just bought it for some friends who are having twins. I'm positive it will be as loved as when we read it.

Summary: The Best of Boynton
Review: If someone were to ask us to pick our favorite Sandra Boynton book, it would be very difficult, since they are all wonderful, but this one would probably edge out the others by a little. It's fun, and playful, and full of animals. We "sing" it like a real square dance, and clap, and our son just loves it. He even points to every animal and names them now, even says "cluck-cluck-cluck!" with the chickens! The funny thing is, my husband and I really get a kick out of reading it, too. It's a FUN book! If you are trying to decide which Boynton book to buy, you have to get this one. Then you'll be hooked and you'll need to have them all!

Summary: Best board book we own!
Review: [I]fell in love with this book the moment [I] got it! It was easy to get the rhythm and read it over and over and over again! In fact, most of the Sandra Boynton books I've seen have been simply wonderful. My 2yo still loves this one as well as But Not The Hippopatumus and Blue Hat, Green Hat (or whatever colors they were!) When you can no longer stand to read one word on a page, these are the books for you and your infant/toddler! DD reads them all the time to her dolls!

Summary: Fun Book
Review: I love Sandra Boynton Books. They are so fun to read. My 6 month old loves to listen to me read this book and by 6 yr. old loves to read this book to herself. I like books that have a good rythym to the reading and this one definitely does. Any child would enjoy this book.

Summary: A joy to read!
Review: Barnyard Dance is a hilarious ride for both parent and child. The story is set in a rhyming song-like format with illustrations that will make most crack a smile. The colors are bright and attractive to small children, without being overly busy. Throughout the story the reader will wonder what will happen next and it wraps up very neatly at the end of the book. It is a joy to read as a mom, not cumbersome at all. Boynton has done it again!
