Rating: Summary: The best book ever! Review: My parents gave me this book and "What's Haeppening to me" when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I still have them and I am 38 years old. They are very basic and easy to understand. Great illustrations annd informative text. I can't wait to share them with my niece and nephew when they are old enough. Talk about an easy way to talk about something that so many parents dread!
Rating: Summary: Passed Down For Years..... A fabulous way to learn about sex Review: My brother had this book when he was little, then I had the book when I was little. We neither one grew up promiscuos or messed up in any fashion. I am now 23 with number one on the way. This book was a wonderful and easy (and entertaining) way to learn about babys and sex and how it all happens. My mom would sit down and read the book with us and answer all of our questions and explain responsibility and good touch and bad touch and all of that with us at the same time. Any one who can blame a book for the promiscuos acts of their children needs to take a look at their parenting. My mother has saved the book for me, and I fully intend on using it to teach my children about sex. It is humorous and to the point. This book is a fabulous learning tool, and unless you plan on your children believing they came from the stork until their honeymoon night, it is a must when learning about sex, love, and baby making!
Rating: Summary: Following my Mother's example 25 years later. . . Review: My mother read this book to me when I was about 5 years old. It answered most of my questions in a straight forward way. To those who complained about the book being too grafic it is only grafic enough to get the message across. I would much rather deal with a small bit of graphicness than to have my child be confused. Now that I am a mother myself I plan on buying this to help teach my daughter when the time comes. If you want to teach your children where babies really do come from and want the real deal, not some fairy tale, buy this book.
Rating: Summary: Talks tough, with a sense of humor. Review: This book takes some tough to discuss topics and puts a humorous twist on them, making it a little easier to talk about. With cartoon-type illustrations, and real-life situations, this is a must-have for everyone's library!
