Rating: Summary: The Best Yet! Review: I've read all the Warriors books, and loved every one. But I must say this is the best. Up until now, Warriors #3: Forest of Secrets was one of the greatest books I've ever read, but this passes even that up! First I have to say a few things about the series. When you see a virtually unknown set of books, especially by a rather unorigional name like Warriors, you might wonder if the books are worth reading. These definately are! All of them are very descripitive and really are what many English teachers might call "Good Literature". But, just to let you know, you HAVE to read them in order. So, anyway, about this installment itself... When I first started reading it, it seemed so similar to the other books in the series that I thought this one would be pretty boring. But after the first chapter, I was proved very wrong. Dangerous Path actually turned out to be the most interesting and different of them all. Bluestar has completely lost faith in her clan, and in the warrior ancestors, so Fireheart finds himself pretty much leading Thunderclan. The relationship between him and Sandstorm is unsteady, and leads to some difficulties. But Fireheart's biggest problem is the mysterious dog--or dogs--that have invaded the forest. A young cat is horribly mauled, another killed by the dogs. Also Tigerstar, Fireheart's worst enemy is growing more venomous, and is planning horrible revenge on Thunderclan. The plot builds to an exciting climax, and a very sad ending. Along the way, the characters are becoming much more developed than they were in any other Warriors book, which is one of the reasons that this installment is my favorite. The one thing I don't appreciate about this book is how the dogs, really very gentle, intellegent animals, are portrayed: as vicious killing machines, that are also extremely dumb. They have a vocabulary of about two words: "pack" and "kill", while some of the cats are practically philosophers. I have to admit, however, that even I, a big dog-lover felt pretty scared for the feline characters because of the author's vivid descriptions. Overall, this is a terrific, edge-of-the-seat book that I would strongly recommend.
Rating: Summary: A Great Page Turner Review: OMG, I read this book in one day - it was that good. Well we all know that Tigerclaw is now Tigerclaw, the new leader of Shadowclan. At the gatherings he doesn't seem to show much threat that he is going to invade the Thunderclan territory. Fireheart wants to believe that Tigerclaw is now happy with his power and that he doesn't want to bother Thunderclan. It is unfortunate that this is not true. I won't tell you anymore, you have to read to find out what's Tigerstar is up to. Bluestar, has been slowly ebbing away from the noble leader she once was. Now she is convinced that every cat in the clan is a traitor and therefore does not care for them. Fireheart does the best he can for the clan and that might mean going behind Bluestar's back. To make matters worse a new evil is lurking around in the forest... This book will plunge you into Fireheart's world, responsiblities, troubles, and pressure. Oh, and don't forget about the romance with Sandstorm!
Rating: Summary: Clearly the best book I have ever read! Review: Out of all the Warriors books I have read, I have to say, this is by far the best of her books I have read. There are so many new things happening in this book. New warriors, new apprentices, the return of an old friend, great evil leading a clan, quite a few deaths, a new and great threat in the forest where the hunters of the forest are being hunted, and the rising of a new great leader. Bluestar now understands what Spottedleaf ment when she said "Fire alone will save our clan," One thing I have been waiting for a long time in this series since like the 3rd book is that it is begining to be more obvious that Sandstorm and Fireheart are falling in love. This is something from the book, which I consider my favorite part: Fireheart felt too full of emotion to answer. he strecthed out his head to press against her flank, and to his delight she did not move away. Instead she looked up at him again, and he felt as if he were drowning in the depths of her green gaze. "I'm sorry, Sandstorm," he murmured. "I never meant to hurt you." His voice barely more than a whisper, he added, "I love you." Sandstorm's eyes glowed. "I love you too, Fireheart," she whispered. (...) Now, if you want more excitment, then read the book! But if you haven't read any 1,2,3, or 4 yet, read those first, or you won't understand a thing! ^_^
Rating: Summary: The Best Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: This book picks up where Rising Storm left off. Tigerstar is the new leader of ShadowClan, and he acts as though his traitor days are over. The book starts out with these four leaders:Crookedstar, Bluestar, Tigerstar, and Tallstar. By the end of the book, two are replaced. And it's not who you think!! Both Cinderpelt and Bluestar get messages from StarClan about these two words: 'pack' and 'kill'. Sandstorm and Fireheart have arguments, like in Rising Storm. Cinderpelt misses Yellowfang a lot, but doesn't come into the story often. Yellowfang makes a breif appearance with Spottedleaf in Fireheart's dreams. And someone comes back to ThunderClan!! Also, there is a tense meeting of clans not in the Gatherings, an elder dies, and Goldenflower and Speckletail both hate Fireheart. The ending is sort of obvious and anti-climatic, but it is much more fufilling than any other ending, so, READ A DANGEROUS PATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: This book was awsome, it's the best one yet! Review: Tigerclaw is the new leader of Shadowclan, and Bluestar's confidence is fading. She believes that her cats are traitors, and Fireheart is finding it hard to keep his clan from falling apart! But there is a new threat in the forest, one more terrible than Thunderclan has ever seen. Innocent cats are dying, and Fireheart must stop it before it's too late! I loved this book, I couldn't put it down until I had finished it!
