Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Possibly the best book ever written Review: Dog Heaven is so touching that I cry not only reading it, but on describing the book to others. Given to me as a gift on the passing of my own beloved Tara, I can think of no better tribute to our dogs' lives. The illustrations are brilliant, God is depicted as human and approachable, and the words of the book speak straight to your heart.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Deeply Touching Book Review: When my dog, Kiska, passed away in April of this year, my heart shattered in a million pieces. My animal soul-mate was gone. My grief was overwhelming. I read a lot of books on Animals in Heaven, and this one touched my very soul. So simple, yet so comforting. I received this book from her Oncology doctor and the staff where she was treated. I cried all the way through the book. I pick it up and read it often, it eases the ache in my heart. I recommend it for all ages, children and adult.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: touching... Review: ....and not just for children, or for those who lost a pet. Just as much an inspirational book, almost like Tuesdays with Morrie in a way. Recommended.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Book, very comforting! Review: I bought this book when my dog Max died for myself and my kids. Even though my kids were beyond the picture book stage, it was so comforting to be reminded of how much God loves dogs...almost as much as we do. I loaned it out to everyone that I knew who had just lost their pet and it always brought tears of comfort to them. In fact I have to buy a new one because I never got it back from the last person that I loaned it to. Great book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful for children and adults Review: This book was great when we lost our family dog. My children were 3 and 6, and this book let them see where pets go when they die, and how wonderful God is to them! I even cried!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Wonderful and Touching Book for All Ages Review: Yes, this is ostensibly a childeren's book, but it's for anyone who's ever lost a pet. And I've lost quite a few since I was a child. Read it, don't be embarassed when the tears come, and then read it again. The bottom line is that you'll be reassured that your dogs who have passed on are happy, and that you'll be reunited with them. And keep several on hand. It's the ideal gift of condolence when a friend or relative's dog passes on.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I read this to my dog. Review: I am writing this review thru my tears because we just had to put our beloved 12 year old chihuahua down 2 days ago. But I found this book in the vet's office while we had our last few minutes with Pepe. My husband and I actually read this book to Pepe while we held him. It was just what we needed at this very stressful time, and the words and the emotions of the book seemed to calm him down. After we left I knew I had to get the book because of the comfort that it gave me. It gives me hope and peace knowing that my dog is in a beautiful place, at peace with no more pain. I recommend it highly.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful Book! Review: I work at a Dog Hotel and we send this book to all our clients who've lost a pup. It's simple and easy to read but very touching. Always helps you feel better sending a sweet canine on to the next part of their journey! I highly recommend it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: TEACHER RECOMMENDS! Review: I have given this book to countless children (and adults) who are grieving the loss of a furry friend. Being a teacher, I am quite often faced with a student who experiences the loss of a beloved pet. If you believe dogs go to heaven, this book offers wonderful comfort in allowing children to imagine what it might be like for their dog in heaven. I would recommend this book to almost any parents trying to ease some of that heartbreak for their child and quite possibly themselves.
