Rating: Summary: A Pleasant Surprise Review: Being something of a cynic, when I learned of these books I had assumed they would be a cheap exploitation of the Harry Potter phenomenon. I am happy to say I was wrong. Written by J.K. Rowling under pseudonyms, these twin books are a quick and entertaining hold-over for Harry lovers waiting for the next "real" book to arrive. It's also fun to read an "artifact" from Harry's fantasy world -- books from the books themselves. A clever and unique concept well-executed.
Rating: Summary: Quidditch Through the Ages: A Great History of a Great Game! Review: Kennilworthy Whisp has put together a very well written and well researched tomb on the history of Quidditch. From its earliest beginnings and the evolution of the flying broomstick right through to the more modern racing brooms. The book is illustrated with pictures, diagrams and historical documents.Included is an interesting newspaper clip from the June 2nd, 1884 Daily Prophet describing the reasons behind the Stooging Penalty. The book's concluding chapter "Quidditch Today" contains a fantastic glossary of modern Quidditch terms: from "Bludger Backbeat" to "Wronski Feint"! Anyone with the mildest interest in Quidditch will enjoy this publication by Whizz Hard Books (while supporting a good cause to boot!)
Rating: Summary: Magical Books Review: These books are absolutely amazing. They are expertly written, which comes as a small wonder considering they are written by J.K. Rowling herself. Quidditch Through the Ages gives a fasinating look into the history of the game. Who knew that the Golden Snitch was made to act like the Golden Snidget? Fantasitic Beast and Where to Find Them is equally good. Would you want to stop and say hello to a Chimaera? This book will tell you the answer to that and much more. (...)

Rating: Summary: Essential tools Review: A very nice litaray addition and necessity for those avid Potter readers.. Specifically helpfull if reading to children at home or in classes allowing for more questions and answers although not at the same caliber as the Potter books it is what could be expected from any school text book.
Rating: Summary: Boring... Review: I have read all the Harry Potter books but this was extreamly disapointing. It was obviously a short book meant to make money between the fourth and fifth book. Absolutly horrable.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter School Books... Review: These books are so good for the children, they help them to fantasize about the life of Harry Potter. From my oldest daughter (14) to my youngest (5) these and all Harry Potter Books are a great hit... Definitely recommend them...

Rating: Summary: Yes! Review: These books are great! Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages will fulfill your hunger if you're waiting for the fifth book to come out. these books take you inside the magical world of Harry Potter. Quidditch Through The Ages discusses the early forms of the wizard sport Quidditch and is very entertaining with pictures and a "check out list" of students who've borrowed the book from the Hogwarts library. Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is also enjoyable. It shows the many different monsters and creatures of the magical world. This book is espescially entertaining as it is a replica of Harry Potter's own copy. His quotes and doodles will make you laugh and you'll be a little closer to the fifth book when you're finished reading it.
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: Very funny and nice. This book is a reproduction of some of Harry's 'school books'. In fantastic beasts, 'Harry' has written funny little quicks in the margins, which makes it very funny. A nice accompaiment to the books for light reading.
