Summary: Two awsome books!
Review: These are excellent books for Harry Potter fans! There are very many jokes that tie into the Harry series that are hilarious. The only problem is that if you have not read the 4 books, you probably won't understand the jokes. But if muggle or wizard, you will love these books!

Summary: Not what I expected, but good anyway..
Review: I was waiting very impatiently for my parcel to arrive, btu when it did, honestly, I was disappointed. The paperback quality wasnt THAT good, and even the page texture wasnt collectible. Anyway, when I scanned the book, it was ok. I was expecting more diagrams or pictures, but there were just a few. In fact, I was expecting some better pictures as they are school textbooks for wizards, but the pictures that are there in the book, look like they are drawn by Harry himself. In spite of my disappointments since I am such a huge Harry Potter fan, I found these 2 books fun to go through. I cant wait to have any other books that will publish and the Order of Phoenix is number 1 on my mind.

Summary: Wonderful Books!
Review: If you remember that this is NOT a Harry Potter sequel, you will enjoy these books. I just adored the writing in them by Harry, Ron and Hermione and thought it added authenticity to them as I remember doing that when I was a kid in school. I would definitely buy these for any Harry Potter lovers out there!

Summary: Great books~Moving gesture
Review: Quidditch through the ages and magical beasts and where to find them, are two creative, historical books of Rowlings magical, wizarding world. they show the history, and background of how the wizards world came 2 b how it is today. It's fun to read, and it answers a lot of questions that were left open by J.K.'s first books. I really enjoyed the excerpts from Harry and Ron! A very good and informational book for all harry potter lovers

Summary: Good thing these are for charity!
Review: I don't feel ripped-off by having bought these -- any new JKR stuff while we wait on "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is welcome -- but if the proceeds weren't going to charity, I would be a little less enthusiastic.

Both books are quite good, and I was surprised to find myself enjoying the Quidditch book more than I had expected to, as I'm not wildly enthusiastic about the attention lavished on the game in the books. (The book serves as a history of wizarding as well, and the anecdotes JKR includes bring the book to life.)

But these books are very, very thin, don't include all the material they're supposed to according to the novels and, well, they're not especially well-constructed. I would have been happy to get both books as a thicker flipbook if they could have had somewhat nicer cover cardstock.

But what you get is more JKR, a return to the world of Harry Potter, and something to keep the shakes while waiting for the next novel from getting too bad. Toss in the fact that the profits go to support a very good cause, and it's hard to have any real complaints!

Summary: Great Addition to the Series!
Review: JK Rowling has done it again! Even though these books aren't as long as or even like the Harry Potter series, she has created even another Masterpiece! This set includes Quidditch Through the Ages, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. If you don't understand anything, these books explain it all! The quidditch book gives you an insiders view of the Wizard Sport Quidditch. Rowling creates the whole history before your eyes! It all seems so real! The other book (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) is very interesting! I love the little notes Ron, Harry, and Hermoine write to each other! The descriptions and Pictures of the animals make them seem so real! She even gives a Preface by Dumbledore and 'About the Authors' about K. Whisp and N. Scamander! She makes it seem as if they really existed and wrote these books. Rowling donates all the profits from these books to Comic Relief, a charity. She needs to make more of the schoolbooks to go along with these! They are so neat!

Summary: My Favorite
Review: I love this book! It is the best. I haven't got Quiddich Though The Ages yet but I do have Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them my favorite is the Antipodean Opaleye. It sounds beautiful! I think the Puffskien is exactly like my sisters cat!

Summary: Charm for a good cause!
Review: Finally, an author who knows her books will sell well, but is willing to give a portion of the profit to a great cause. I was so happy when I found out that some of the profit would go to a good cause that I bought the books right away. The books are essential necessities for every Potter fan and every reader. The books five readers a closer look at Rowling's imaginery world. My favorite was Quidditch Through the ages, because it was so near perfect. My only complaint was that there were no footnotes or scribbles like in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. However, I greatly enjoyed reading about the sport and the "Praise for Quidditch Through the Ages" page. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was enjoyable, too. But, since I am such a Potter Fanatic, I found that many creatures mentioned in the series were not included. I also wish both of the books could have been longer...enough to last me until book 5 in November. Overall, both books are sure to entertain you.

Summary: Too short!
Review: Like everything by JK Rowling, the schoolbooks were both highly anticipated and wonderful to read. I was facinated by the insights into the historical growth of the quidditch game in Quidditch through the ages which was both historical and hysterical at the same time. Fantastic Beasts and where to find them was a wonderful overview of the magical creatures that make up the Potter Universe, and I loved the little side notes by Harry and Ron. While not wanting to take any more of Rowling's time away from writing book five, the main problem I had with the schoolbooks was that they were too short!
