Rating: Summary: GREAT! Review: I think these books are really good, but I like the fantastic beasts one best, because of all the scribbles by Harry and his mates. I dont like the other one because it was a bit boring. I have chocolate all over the pages, so I cant read it anymore.
Rating: Summary: Good for the Harry-Addicts Review: A great way to truly get into the Harry Potter spirit! As a reader of the series, this was a great way for me to read something other than the novels while still getting my daily dose of fantasy. I mean, I can only read the "Goblet of Fire" so many times, right? I reccomend, however, you read at least one Harry-novel first, just so you get an idea of what Rowling is doing.
Rating: Summary: Just cause it is Harry..... Review: i give it a minimum of 4 stars. I have loved the Harry Potter books and so have my kids. They eat up anything with Harry Potter attached to it. In light of the inevitable glut of Harry stuff coming with the movie I was thrilled to see the author give us all of little something to read for the wait. These are not books telling the story of Harry and his friends, these are actually real textbooks bought in Diagon Alley. Better yet, they are used textbooks containing the scribblings of Harry and his pals. The kids will enjoy the insight to Quidditch and the various creatures. They will love feeling like they are holding a copy of Hrry's real school books. If you or your kids are Harry fans get these books so your set will be complete.
Rating: Summary: These books are boring with a capital B! Review: Come on! These books are so boring, dull, uninteresting, I could go on for hours! It is only for true Harry Potter freaks who are crazy about anything relating to him. These books are full of all these boring facts about Quidditch or Beasts, depending on the book you are reading. None of them are interesting, you can tell that they are made up completely, because none of this was mentioned in the real Harry Potter books, which are WAY more satisfactory than this rubbish. J.K. Rowling should not have made these books' profits go to charity, because no profits will be made. However, I think the idea of doing books for charity is nice, and that's the exact reason I gave this 2 stars, because it doesn't deserve half a point. I suggest you avoid this junk, because you will regret wasting your time reading it.
Rating: Summary: Something to help you wait! Review: These books are fun to read and are great to flip through to hold you over until book 5 comes out. Another good thing except for the fact that these books keep you at an amusing fantasy level is that all the proceeds from these books are going to charity which is great! GOOD JOB JKR!
Rating: Summary: Only if you're a Potter's Die-heart fan! Review: These school-books are nice, funny, but not really worth buying. Only if you're a Harry Potter Die-heart Fan, or a generous person who's willing to donate your money.
Rating: Summary: Fun and Entertaining Review: The books were fun and quite entertaining. I would reccomend them to anyone eagerly waiting for book five.
Rating: Summary: Loved it! Review: As an avid Harry Potter fan, these two slim volumes do nothing to satiate my demand for the fifth book. However, as an avid Harry Potter fan, I loved the "handwriting" in the books. I also loved the fact that Albus Dumbledore wrote one of them. Oh, the books are also an interesting read about mythical beasts and the history of quidditch.
Rating: Summary: I Absolutely loved these! Review: These books are Great! The "Quidditch through the ages" Helped me to understand a little more about quidditch, and had some very, very intersting stuff in it. Like the origin of the Golden snitch being a small golden bird.(I'll say no more!)And I found it to be quite entertaining. The "Fantastic Beasts n wherer to find them" was just as good. It is not a sit own an read all the way through book but one you can rea in little snippets when ever you have time. The creatures escribed are really interesting , though fictional, and the little doodles in the book by Ron,Harry and Hermione are funny, it gives it a more personal touch. The cover appearance and the inside writings of the books are true to the HP series and try not to give away that they are not really real, by keeping JK Rowlings name off the fron of the book but still giving her due recognition. They write the supposed authors names on the book, which makes it more fun. These books are definately worth your time and money and go towards a good cause. (the comic releif company, for the Harry's books fund to help needy chilren)
Rating: Summary: the best? Review: Harry potter is the best book i have ever read. Apart from being totally unusual it gives you a feeling that will hold inside you for the rest of the day. I love it.
