Summary: Hogwarts Schoolbooks
Review: These books are very enjoyable. They provide excellent background reading, and are an essential addition to any Pottermaniac's collection. I felt as if I was really at Hogwarts when I read these. Also, your purchase goes toward a charity called Comic Relief. If you like Harry Potter, you'll love these!!!

Summary: X-pectations
Review: It lives up and over my expectations.Youll feel as if you were a hogwarts student yourself!I really dont know what else to say these books are great!!

Summary: This book is great for all Harry Potter fans!
Review: I read both of these books, and I thought that they were great. Their not quite as large as the other J.K. Rowling books, but are still very good. They give you background reading on the beasts in the magical world, and the wizarding sport Quidditch! Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is my favorite. It would be so cool if those creatures were real. My favorite creature is the Phoenix! Quidditch through the Ages tells about how broomsticks came around, some famous teams, and just facts about the sport in general. All in all, if you have never read the books, I wouldn't read this first! It will confuse you if you know nothing about the wizarding world. For everyone who has read Harry Potter, however, I definitly think you should read this book.

Summary: Cute, but not enough
Review: These are fun reference books for the Potter seris. The drawings are enjoyable, and it is for a good cause. It is interseting to read about the various creatures, and I very much enjoied the drawings. However, it is not enough to be a Potter fix. Eagerly awaiting the movie, and word of the next book.

Summary: :)
Review: --J.K. Rowling has made available two textbooks at Harry Potter's school, one being a popular read in the Hogwarts library and the other being "Harry's" copy of "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" which is funnier as it has everything expected of a typical high school textbook: though it's not the usual heavy hardcover type, it has drawings, tic-tac-toe games, and funny comments in the margins and text. Harry, Ron, and Hermione have come across plenty of "Fantastic Beasts" in their few years at the school, so commentary is natural, effective, and very funny most of the time. --I highly recommend reading these for tons of information about Harry Potter's wizardry world. --Marisa

Summary: Clever, not quite right though
Review: J.K. Rowling clearly took some background material she had developed for the series and put it into these "books." They certainly don't appear to be "textbooks" and so there is some loss of verismilitude (like you can believe in wizards :-) however at less than $5 for the pair they are probably required for any serious reader's collection. I am continually impressed by the way in which the stories, and these titles, weave together a story arc that is both engrossing of the moment, and also leaves us wondering/hoping for more. (Too bad she can't write the X-files for Chris Carter, but that is another rant.)

If you didn't either pre-order the last two books before they came available or buy them on the day of their release, then these schoolbooks won't be for you. If, on the other hand, you can't get enough of Hogwarts and the whole Harry Potter universe and have the christmas ornaments and the Hogwarts Journal, and etc, then you have to get these books.

Summary: Suppress My Harry Potter Fix
Review: Proceeds from these books go to an excellent cause, so how could I resist. Besides, they keep me satisfied until book #5 comes out. Recommended reading.

Summary: Three great reasons to buy these books
Review: 1. "Quidditch Through the Ages" is another sterling example of Rowling's amazing imagination at work. Not only has she invented a surprisingly compelling and exciting sport for wizards and witches, but she has also gifted us with its hilarious "history." Rowling has always used humor in her books, but this one is laugh-out-loud funny. Kids and adults will love this one

2. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will appeal more to younger children. Again, you will be stunned by the creative and amusing beasts Rowling invents. I particularly loved the rating system. All the creatures you've read about in the previous Harry Potter books are here, and there are plenty of new beasts that we will hopefully see in future volumes.

3. Proceeds from these books support a great cause. Here's a chance to get a brief Harry Potter fix and do some good at the same time!

Summary: She just did it again!
Review: This two books are very good and funy. Of course I was expecting a little bit more from "Wonderful beasts and were to find them", but the comments maded by "Harry and Rony" is the best of this book. "Quidditch through the ages" is a very good guide for the ones who liked this game, it really explains how the game works, is great!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazing
Review: The red book tells about all the monsters which is so rad! the green one tells about quiditch witch sounds like the best game ever. these 2 books are the best next to the storybooks.
