Summary: Spectacular!!
Review: This book is absolutely breathtaking! From the minute you see the tornado jumping out at you on the very first page, you will be so anxious to see the rest of the book. The pop-ups are spectacular - full of color and details - and spread out across both pages. On the sides of each page, there are additional smaller pop-ups. The Emerald City is beautiful, but my favorite one is the balloon in which Dorothy is about to ride home in. I originally bought this book for my cousin's 4 year old daughter, but after seeing it, I thought it might be too delicate for younger children. I decided to give it to my cousin instead who is a collector of Wiz of Oz memorabilia. Both her and her children were mesmerized by this book. It's an absoulte must for Wizard of Oz fans!

Summary: Sensational!
Review: This book was given to me as a Christmas present a year ago. Quite simply, it is the best pop-up book I have ever seen. I have left it on my coffee-table all year, and everyone who visits simply marvels over it. A perfectly wonderful gift, I think, for children over (say) 4, and for quite a few grown-ups with no children too. I'm one of them, so pleased to own it.

Summary: Masterpiece
Review: Occassionally, individuals come along with an idea that is so far apart from standard fare that it qualifies to be classified as groundbreaking. L. Frank Baum and Robert Sabuda have achieved this mark. While I consider myself neither a particular fan of pop-ups nor the WoOz, this book is spectacular in its own right. I can heartily recommend this book for anyone who is not easily impressed. The book is not suitable for small children as some of the pop-ups are delicate, and the storyline itself covers all of the events but is, I think, abbreviated.

Summary: Wonderful!!!!
Review: I can't say enough about the illustrations, this book is wonderful! The story is long enough to hold a 6 year old's attention and for them to get the gist of the whole story, but not so long as to loose their interest. Would also be good for a younger child. Robert Sabuda is an amazing children's illustrator!

Summary: A Pop-Up Wonder!!!
Review: As a huge fan of reading and one who always enjoys a good read, I found this book to not only be a wonderful classic tale, but a beautiful sight for the eyes. The artwork was fascinating and Robert Sabuda is a pop-up genius. I have also ordered other books that he has worked on and every single one is just beautiful. I recommend this to anyone who has children or who is a kid at heart!!!

Summary: Young and Old
Review: I purchased this book for my neice and had it shipped out of state for her 7th birthday party which was attended by several family memebers. Being away, you never quite get the reaction that a gift brings, but I heard from several family members the next day. Throughtout the evening the book was never put down. The younger children were amazed and even Grandmom couldn't put it down. The pop-ups are detailed and elaborate, with the story written on the side panels with even more pop-ups. The next day I recieved two calls to find out where I bought it. This book was a huge hit by both young and old. Even Barbie couldn't compete.

Summary: Great book but the age range should be wider
Review: Our family enjoyed this book but it has a lot of text and would be good for ages 4-11 in my opinion. The pop up's are intricate and you need to be careful turning the pages so they fold up correctly. There is much to see in this book not just the large page pop up's a great gift for an Oz fan.

Summary: Beautiful!
Review: This is the most beautiful pop-up book I've seen. I could not wait to purchase it and tell all my friends. The colors are vibrant and each page is a treasure to look at. It will be a classic among a collection. Is it just for children?!

Summary: Spectacular!
Review: I purchased one of these books for Christmas for a friend's four year old daughter. I can't begin to tell you how awesome it is. I am ordering one for every child I know, as well as one for myself - and I'm well over 40 years old.
