Rating: Summary: Let the Rumpus Begin! Review: What fun! What imagination! Any child can relate to making mischief and being sent to their room. But Max doesn't let that stop him. After being sent to his room for making to much mischief, a forest grows and grows and grows until trees are all around and the vines cover his ceiling and an ocean forms. Max takes a boat that's made just for him and travels for almost a year to where the Wild Things are and is named King of all Wild Things. That's when the wild rumpus begins. But then, he wants to be somewhere where he is loved. When he smells something good to eat from far off, he gets back into his boat. But not without the Wild Things begging him to stay. Soon, Max is back in his room where his supper is waiting for him. And it's still hot! The illustrations are outstanding...not so bright as to distract from the story-line, which is short but very descriptive, yet are very imaginative helping to spark the imagination of the young reader who delves into the pages of 'Where the Wild Things Are'.
Rating: Summary: A Favorite to Share Review: I loved this book as a child. I loved this book as an adult and give it as a gift to many friends and relatives children. I love it as a mom who watches her son delight in hearing the story and asking "again Mommy, read it again." The story reaches into the mind and imagination of a child. It is simply slendid and a MUST for every child.
Rating: Summary: I LOVED IT!!! Review: This book brought back the child in me. Great illustrations and use of imagination made it easy for me to romp in the wild with Max. I would definitely recommend this book for any child; Where the Wild Things Are will ignite anyone's imagination. I loved this book as a child and nothing has changes since reading it again in my 20's. This book gives great opportunities to interact with children and to make reading come alive.
Rating: Summary: Great Bedtime Story ! A Caldecott Winner and a book for children of all ages to enjoy. Evelyn Horan - teacher, counselor, author Jeannie, A Texas Frontier Girl, Book One Jeannie, A Texas Frontier Girl, Book Two

Rating: Summary: Where the Wild Things Are Review: The story is about a boy who rebels against his mother when it came to eating his supper. He was sent to his room where he dreamed about living where The Wild Things Are. Once there he became lonely and wanted to be where someone loved him most of all. This aspect of the story is a perfect example of any child rebelling and later realizing that their parents love him/her and they love their parents. The story is good for any child to listen or even read. It contains a moral that we can all relate to at one point in our childhood life time. That is why I would strongly recommend this book for any parent that has rebelling child.
Rating: Summary: Where the Wild Things Are Review: I think the Book, "where the wild things are" is an excellent children's story. It really shows you how foar a kids imagination can go. The kid in the story has different images then other kids. He doesn't really use people, he makes them up to what he thinks they look like. It helps kids get creative. Which tells them that they don't have to think of things that happen in real life. This story is very interesting and i think kids would enjoy reading it.
Rating: Summary: Good Review: I thought that Where the Wild Things Are was a great book. I think it is a great book for kids because Max, the kid in the story, has such a great imagination. I think that kids would enjoy this book because they usually have very good imaginations. I also liked the illistrations in the book. Especially the monsters. They were drwn with great detail. Overall this book is great and I think anyone at any age would enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: Very Imaginative Book! Review: I really enjoyed this book because of the great imagination that is in it. Most little kids are always using there imaginations to dream things up and this book is a good example of a child doing so. Although some things in this book may have been random, like a boat just appearing out of nowhere, but that is what makes this book so great. Most of the time children are random and this book is very relatable to them. This book is goofy and fun and I recommend it to all children.
Rating: Summary: Open's the mind to imagination Review: A great short story that children, young or old, will love to read. It connects to children's lives. It is a story that is brought forth through imagination. Children using their imagination to create their own world and what life would be like in their creative world. A Wild Rumbus in a forest filled with Things, how exciting to be apart of it. The exhilarating illustrations draws the reader to be part of the wild Rumbus. Reading the story brings out the Wild Thing within, making the reader become the character in the wolf suit. It encourages children and adults to explore and make up their own world. A truly terrific story for adults and children.
