Summary: Excelent first library
Review: These books are great. they were among the first books my son got. Now that he is older he still looks at them and reads them to himself. They started him on a road of reading. I would read these to him everynight at bedtime and then would help to get him setlled in to go to sleep. They are short and beautifully illastrated enough to hold the attention of even the youngest and most restlest child

Summary: Wonderful - Just Wonderful
Review: These books are wonderful. I started reading them to my sons as soon as they were born. My oldest is 3 and he can "read" Goodnight Moon to me. He looks forward to finding the little bunny before his mommy does in The Runaway Bunny and knows when to make the animal sounds before I turn the page in the Big Red Barn.

This collection is a must for all kids. You won't regret buying them for the years of enjoyment that follows!

Summary: They don't call them classics for nothing
Review: These three are terrific! I wanted to buy lots of classics for my baby and I was given this one. I could not have made a better choice myself. This is a great edition to my child's library.

Summary: Classics for every kid!
Review: This collection is a must have for every child's library. Each book has a great story that doesn't reinforce negative stereotypes. They are fun, easy to read and will be good beginner books for a younger child.

Summary: Fabulous reading for infants through toddlers
Review: We have really enjoyed this set. My daughter is 13 months old and after about a week she settles in for part of our bedtime routine and waits while we read one of the books 4 or 5 times. She is starting to stop and look at the pages and items in the story.

Summary: A must-have in every child's library
Review: When I first bought this set and began to read them to my two year old, I just didn't get it! The rhymes weren't quite right, the pictures were kind of old fashioned and the stories weren't really proper stories. In fact I didn't really enjoy reading them the first couple of times. But I soon realised what a mistake I'd made.

Why should poetry for children rhyme and scan perfectly? The pictures have delightful details which become more and more obvious with each reading. The stories are wonderful, loving and gentle. Just what bedtime needs.

Now after over a year of reading these three books many, many times, I find myself being disappointed when my daughter choses another book at bedtime.
