Rating: Summary: Holes! Review: I liked the part in Holes where Stanley goes to Camp Greenlake and meets a cowboy and the cowboy said that he used to smoke 1 pack of ciggarets a day but he quit and now he eats 1 pack of sunflower seeds a day. I liked it because it just was interesting and a good book and exiting. The book would be better if the aurthor added more details and a holes #2,#3,and #4. I read it because the cover looked interesting so I read a couple chapters and I liked it so I kept on reading it...
Rating: Summary: It was a good book. Review: I liked the the book because it was exciting that what was going to happen. And at the end of the book it was very slow. But the book was good. You should read this book.
Rating: Summary: I think it is the best book I have read so far. Review: I liked the way Stanley's grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents impacted his life.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I liked this book a lot. It was one of the best books I had ever read. I liked this book so much I wanted to read it again. I talked to my classmates about this book and everybody I talked to said that they liked the book too. I recommend this book to everybody.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I liked this book a whole lot. It was very interesting the way the author made the plot. It was interesting how all of the juvenile kids let each other fit in. They were not actually the mean people most everybody makes them out to be. They were nice to every kid and did not discriminate each other. It was my favorite part when Stanley and the other kid ran away aand they lived off of wild onions they found at God's thumb. I liked this book very much and thought it was exellent book to have read.
Rating: Summary: Holes is Great Review: I liked this book alot, alot, alot but what really let me down was the stories that are put into the story it makes the book really confusing.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I liked this book because it had lots of funny things in it, and the book was kind of sad and kind of mean and boring. It was an adventure, where two kids found refuge at gods thumb, they found a field of onions, which they ate and took back to the camp where they were at. A kid named stanley and zero went to gods thumb, and stanley's dad found a way to recycle old sneakers, the recipe was onions and spiced peaches.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I liked this book because it is kind of funny and interesting. The best part I liked was when caveman turned on the truck and took of with it.I would recommend this book to other students and parents.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable reading and I couldn't put the book down. Review: I liked this book because it showed me that good can come out of a bad situation. This book demonstrated that if you believe in yourself no matter what, you can succeed. I felt bad for Stanley because he was treated so badly by the horrible warden. I liked all of Stanley's friends in the story, especially Zero (Hector Zeroni). This book really grabbed my attention and I liked it so much that I passed it on to my fifth grade teacher, and I will also be sharing it with my friends.
Rating: Summary: A Page Turner Review: I liked this book because it was a very adventureous book. I liked the character Stanley because he is courageous and kind when he did not leave Zero out in the desert when he ran away. He found Zero. He also took Zero with him to big thumb, he had to carry Zero up half of the moutain to big thumb. The best part of the story was when Zero and Stanley got caught and the lizards started to come out of the holes. The end was very exciting, Stanley found a suitcase but the warden said that the suitcase was hers but it was not, because it had Stanley's name on it. So Stanley kept the suitcase and lived happily after all.
