Rating: Summary: Holes, A Story Within A Story Review: I liked Holes. The characters are really funny and sometimes really mean. The story is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who is cursed by his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and gets in alot of trouble. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I didn't like Holes. There are alot of mysteries in the book. The author (Louis Sachar) doesn't explain any of them. The book gets very dull sometimes. The story is about a camp called Camp Green Lake where you are forced to dig holes that are exactly 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep. (...) That is about as much as I could tell you.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review by S. Von Woofingham Review: I liked how Holes had so many twists and how everything came together. It is hilarious, too! Look at all the funny characters: Myra (whose head is empty as a flowerpot, Madame Zeroni (the gypsy with one leg), Zero (the emptyheaded kid...or so you think!),and Stanley Yelnats (the kid whose name is spelled the same forwards and backwards). Don't forget to look out for the #3! Wait until you hear all of the great descriptions of Mary Lou in a bathing suit. Yeah! I definitely give it ***** (5 stars!)

Rating: Summary: Unpredictable but good! Review: I liked how this book was unpredictable. You never knew what was going to happen next. It was very interesting and kept me on my toes. It is one of the few books for school that I have actually finished. I would definitely recommend it.

Rating: Summary: Good Book Review: I liked Stanley Yelnats and how Loius Sachar weaves past andfuture in the book. I like when he and Zero run for it and find driedpeaches at the top of the mountain with a finger pointing to the sky. I liked it when lizards(dangerous ones) our on Stanley because of the treasure. Very good book.
Rating: Summary: HOLESHOLESHOLESHOLESHOLESmoreHOLES Review: I liked the action and adventure in this book. Stanley must have been day dreaming when he ran the water truck into the hole. My favorite part of the book were the reflections to the Yelnats history and the no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. I wonder how the sloosh tasted? I recommend this story to other people.
Rating: Summary: Holes By:Louis Sachar Review: I liked the book "Holes" because it was very different from any other book that I've read. It was very interesting and it explained the characters well. There was also alot of description used in describing the setting. "Holes" was an easy book to get hooked on.I think the best part of this book was when Stanley ran away from Camp Green Lake to look for his friend, Zero. It was an adventurous part of the book when Zero and Stanley ran away from the camp in search of a better place to stay. The worst part of the book was the ending because I think it ended too fast and not in enough detail. The author did a good job in trying to let the reader visualize the setting. The book kept describing the different characteristics of Camp Green Lake, like how hot and dry it was, and the size of the holes the boys who were sent to Camp Green Lake had to dig. Behind the camp, there were many trees and a big mountain. But the strangest thing about Camp Green Lake is that there is no lake. The author also does a good job describing the characters. Each character's personality seemed to match their description. Every person at Camp Green Lakehad an excellent description that made it easy to visualize what every person looked and acted like. Overall, I think the book "Holes" was a really good book, and i would recommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: The Story Of The Book Holes Review: I liked the book "Holes" because it was a funny/serious story. The charaters were all at Camp Greean Lake ("a Bad Boy Camp) to dig holes because they were bad. They also had to be careful that they didn't get hurt by the "Yellow-Spotted lizerd" or they will die. Some charaters in the book were trying to get bit by a rattle snake so they can rest; the rest of the day. But whatever they did they couldn't lay in the shade on the hammoke or the "Warden" will get REALLY mad. If they ever got bit by a Yellow-Spotted lizerd the didn't care if they got in troble laying on the hammoke because they were going to die a slow and painful death from the bite of the deadly lizerd,After all that happend you would be dead! I would Encourage any of the readers out there to read this book because it kinda relates to everyday l ife. In our 6th grade reading class we found a bunch of songs that relate to the book "Holes" Thats why I would rate that 5 stars!
Rating: Summary: Odd but good Review: I liked the book a lot, but some of it is sort of weird. The main charactor is sent to a reform camp that is extremely wierd. The warden paints her nails with rattlesnake venom.
