Summary: Filling in the Holes.
Review: I like how you keep wanting to read more of Holes. I also liked how suprising it was when you started connecting the pieces of the big puzzle of Holes. Another reason I like it was how the characters changed throughout the story. My last good point is that the smallest characters could make the biggest differences in the book.
The bad points were that at the end of the story, it left you hanging. Also it was just too dry. Sachar's writing was so good it made me thirsty.

Summary: The Camp
Review: I like the book because it has all sorts of emotion.WhatI mean by that is there are parts that are sad, happy, fear, and excitement.
I thought the book was going to be boring because I judged it by the title. Don't do what I did because I think you will be suprised when you read it.

Summary: This was great.
Review: I like the book Holes because it is about this boy calledStanley and he is accused of stealing very expensive shoes. He goesto trial and is proved guilty. Stanley had a choice, he could go to jail or to go to Camp Green Lake. Stanley chose to go to Camp Green Lake and made some new friends called Zero, Magnet, etc. Later in the story, Stanley tries running away. I really like this book.

Summary: A Great Reding Book
Review: I like the book Holes because it was funny but it also was serious. Another reason I like the book was because it had flashbacks in it. I t would tell you what Stanley Yelnats III's great-great-grandfather didn't do. So the family and him got a curse on them. I also likeed it when Zero and Stanley became close friends. And Stanley helped Zero learn how to read and write. A funny part in the story was when Zero hit Mr.Pandanski with the shovel. Because Mr. Pandanski wouldn't stop making fun of Zero. My favorite part of the book was when Stanley and Zero found the treasure after they said that they would dig only one more hole. And also when Stanley that he wasn't going to leave Zero behind. It was good because Stanley's family got everything that they wanted. And Zero found his mother.

Summary: A Good Suspenseful Book
Review: I like the book Holes. I think it is an exciting adventure story. Stanley Yelnats, a normally kind and honest boy with very bad luck, get framed for stealing a pair shoes. Stanley is sent to Camp Green Lake by a judge. There he has to stand in the blazing hot sun and dig holes that are 5 feet deep by 5 feet wide in a dried up lake. While there he meets a friend named Zero. Zero is my favorite character, because he is a nice, reliable and helpful friend. I think we would have a lot in common. If I had to go to the camp, I would avoid the warden because she is very mean and harsh. People, young and old, who would like Holes are people who would like suspenseful stories.
