Summary: Yet a wonderful book by Louis Sachar!
Review: I just finished reading this unique book and I thought it was just GREAT! It's original and has a well-planned scheme. I recommend everyone to read it.

Summary: Holes:a story of unfair disipline
Review: I just finished the author's book, Holes and it was great. It teaches a valuable lesson: you can never get away with anything. It's about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who unfairly gets sent to a children disipline camp, Camp Green Lake. The warden turns out to be the elite bandit, Kissin' Kate Barlow. Trust me. This is a book you will have to read yourself to believe.

Summary: A Nice Package
Review: I just finished this book this morning at the prodding of my 9 year old son. We both loved it. It is a tight little story about a boy stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time, and how he joins a band of misfits in the same predicament. Sachar fills in holes in the story as it moves along, keeping new information coming all the while. While the story is fun, the allegories provide great springboards to meaningful conversation with mature young ones on tough topics like racism, fate, revenge. Some parts are a little bleak, but not overtly scary. I am looking forward to sharing this with all of my children.

Summary: one of a kind
Review: I just finshed Holes and it was good. The book was so good you did not want to put it down until you were finished. Through the book characters change their mood and new things happen each time. One thing that the boys mostly do is dig holes every day.I liked this book because it has a twist.

Summary: Holes
Review: I just finshed Louis Sacher's Holes. It is really, really funny. Stanley Yelnats was sent to a detention center because they thought he stole a pair of shoes. The punishment is they must dig a hole a day. The holes turn out to be a benefit for him. If you want somthing to do on a rainy day read Holes by Louis Sacher.

Summary: Amazing Holes
Review: I just read the book Holes by Louis Sachar. The book is great. I even read it twice. In the beginning of the book Stanley Yelnats gets hit in the head by a pair of shoes owned by a famous baseball player. He has a choice of going to jail or to Camp Green Lake. At Camp Green Lake my favorite character is Zero. He is my favorite because he is funny. He also does weird things in the book. I think that everyone should read this amazing book!

Summary: Cool Book...
Review: I just think this book is so cool!! It's about a boy named Stanley Yelnats (Yelnats is Stanley spelled backwards~ get it?!) who is blamed on for stealing a pair of sneakers (he's really innocent). The judge sends him to a camp called "Camp Green Lake". The kids there dig a hole everyday to build character, according to the Warden, but they are really looking for tresure for the Warden. There's this guy named Zero and he wants to learn to read. If you want to find out what happened, READ THE BOOK!!!!!

Summary: A great fun ride! A real Pageturner
Review: I know this book is supposed to be written for kids but I have a confession to make.

I'm 45 years old and although I started reading it at eleven at night I was captured within minutes! By eight the next morning (with a couple of hours sleep in between) I finished it!

The story of Stanley Yelnats, his family, his bad luck is tightly and brilliantly written! This book is fast moving, fun and a real classic. It may be fun for children but truthfully you have to be an adult to fully appreciate it.

I'm Going to read this book over again just to learn how to write a tight funny story brilliantly.

By the way, I got on line and ordered all the rest of Sachars books. In my book, He's right up there with Diane Wynne Jones (if you haven't read her start now) as one of the most imaginative authors ever!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: I know what the newberry judges were thinking, they were thinking that every kid who lives and breathes would like a book like this. I hated reading before, but after i got this from the "Easter Bunny", it changed my views! I recommend this to everyone! Kids AND adults!

Summary: My Interesting Review
Review: I like HOLES because it describes many things in one. It had some-what of a lot of action and makes you keep thinking. But what I really didn't like was at the end they squashed too many things in at once and didn't sound that good. But I liked how there were stories coming in and out during the book. Also the characters in the book were funny, strange, and when they spoke it sounded like they were really speaking in real life.
