Rating: Summary: Review by Juicy Grl Review: I could go on and on about Holes, but I'm gonna spare you. Instead here are a few short paragraphs that briefly explain my thoughts, fellings and views towards Holes. Holes is creative, exciting, suspenseful, climactic, really all that you would want in a book. The main character, Stanley is convicted of a crime and sentm to a camp for "BAD BOYS". However, Stanley is innocent of said crime. The book is about his adventures in the barren wasteland where the camp is located. The ending was great, really Surprising! My favorite character is Kissin-Kate Barlow. She is wild, crazy, and spontaniuous. Be carefull though you are not traveling to a "Girl-Scout Camp." And if you ever wonder who that is in the story remember "It ain't Girl-Scouts sellin' cookies!" Have fun and a great read!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Highly Recommended Review: I could hardly put it down! I loved how the story of Elya Yelnats, the story of Kate Barlow, and the main story all tied together even more than was obvious at first. Hint: pay close attention to last names!

Rating: Summary: My thoughts about the book, Holes Review: I decided to do an online book review about the book Holes, written by Louis Sachar. This book is fiction. Holes is about a young boy, named Stanley Yelnats. One day Stanley was walking and these pair of shoes fell on Stanley. Stanley was carrying them, until something went wrong. The shoes had been stolen from an orphanage. Stanley got caught steeling the shoes, although he was innocent. Stanley was faced to go to jail, or go to Camp Green Lake. Stanley has never been to a camp, so he decided to go there. However, when Stanley arrived at Camp Green Lake, it was not green, and it did not have a Lake. It was more like a desert that had sand and a bunch of holes. This made the story very interesting because it made you think, how did they get the name Camp Green Lake? When Stanley arrived at Camp Green Lake, he had to dig a whole that was five feet deep and five feet wide. He had to dig a whole every day. Stanley gets made fun of a lot at camp. He even got into a fight with X-Ray. Later in the book, you will find that Stanley meets a friend and they go on a little journey. Will they ever come back? Read the book, it will keep u wanting to read, with suspension. This book is very adventurous and you will be sure to love it! So take my advice read the book!
Rating: Summary: An excellent page-turner, never boring! Review: I definitley reccomend it
Rating: Summary: S0 Ad0rable Review: I did like the book Holes, very much. But then again I didn't. I didn't like how Louis Sachar doesn't tell you the rest of what happens at the end. Other than that, I think I liked the book. My favorite character in the book would be Kissing Kate Barlow. Why? Because she stands up for what she thinks is right. People shouldn't be prejudice. My favorite line in the whole book is "I can fix that" which Sam says to Kate whenever something is broken, including her heart. My conclusion is that I think a lot of people will like this book-- it really is a very interesting book and it is a story within a story within a story.
Rating: Summary: A bean bag of a book Review: I did not like Holes.Louis Sachar moved around too much for me. The whole idea of a story within a story within a story was a great idea, but threw me around too much. I felt like a bean bag being tossed around. I think that if Louis Sachar wanted to write a story it should have been based on one main story. Holes kind of dragged on longer than it should have. By the end of the book I was relieved to have finally summed up the story. I think the story gave a lot of suspense so I was ready to reach the end to conclude the story. I would rate this story a 2.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I did not like this book,Holes. There were not enough chapters and the chapters were too short. The plot was too easy to figure out. It was a total downer. I normally never put a book down but I did not want to go to it. The end with the advertisement for the sploosh, in my opinion, was the worst part of the book. I don't get why someone would get the name Caveman? And they go back and forth beteween plots. They go between the plot with Sam "The Onion Man" and Kate Barlow and back to the plot with Stanley and Zero and the rest of the people.
Rating: Summary: Buried Onions Review: I did not like this book. I thought it was ridiculous and very unpleasent to read. I gave it two stars because it was a boring book.
