Rating: Summary: Holes Review: Holes was a very interesting book. The twists and turns in the plot made you want to keep on reading. The author was very skilled at putting the story together. I liked how everything fit together in the end. I also liked how there were so many coincidences. It made it seem like everything that happened was supposed to happen. Like it was fate.

Rating: Summary: Holes A GREAT Book for Everyone Review: Holes was an absolute thriller, from the day he was titled to Camp Green Lake to the day he is on the commercial. In the beginning Stanley Yelnats was unrightfully accused of stealing shoes that he thought fell out of the sky. The judge said, "You can either go to Juvanile Hall or go to Camp Green Lake where you will have to dig one hole a day." Stanley being in a poor family and never went to camp decided to go to Camp Green Lake. When he gets their he is soon challenged the next morning by digging a whole 5 by 5 feet. He soon makes an escape and goes to a mountain that smells fresh of onions. Late at night he leaves the mountain top and goes to the camp to find the treasure of Kissing Kate. He and his friend find the treasure but the Warden finds that they are their... And soon after that they find that Stanley and Zero (his friend) stepped in a nest of Yellow Spotted Lizards. I liked this book because it had many exciting parts which you could pretty much feel. Like when the yellow spotted lizard was on Stanley's neck. It's claws on it staying on. You could also feel how releived he was when they left because they were in the sun light. Then the Warden tries to get the treasure but Zero wouldn't let her because it had Stanley's name on it. In the end Stanley is in a commercial.
Rating: Summary: A Whole Review on Holes!!! ... Review: Holes was an amazing book!!! I loved what Sachar did with all ~3~ stories and the number ~3~!!! He leaves the reader hanging many times and wondering about the connections that add to the storys' plot. It makes the reader think a lot about the past and the preasant. He shows you how you can succed even if the odds are way against you. I loved how Sachar gives all of the characters out-of-this-world names that you would never find anywhere else. It was a wonderful book and expierience. I HIGHLY RECOMED this book to everyone!!! You are GUARENTEED to LOVE IT!!! You might enjoy the book even more if you are 10+!!! Have Fun!!!
Rating: Summary: Holes, Short and Sweet Review: Holes was an excellant book that I read in one day. I am only 13, but I know a good book when I read one. I have also written a review for the book Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers and as far as I know 1 person liked it out of 1. But this book shows friendship and had such irony that makes me want to tell everything Stanley Yelnats doesn't know about his family history and the old Camp Green Lake that saved his life many times. Being younger, I was a big fan of Louis Sacher's Wayside Stories and now he hits the spotlight again with HOLES.
Rating: Summary: Great Overall Review: Holes was an excellent book about a boy named Stanely Yelnats and how he is mistaken for doing a crime he didn't commit. In "Holes" it tells how he is punished for this crime. This book can be enjoyed by a boy or girl but in different perspectives. Girls would like because it is about how naughty little boys are punished. Boys would like it because of all the adventure and creepy parts that pop up suddenly. I would have given "Holes" 5 stars except there are a few parts that are just too violent and gross for me. But besides that it was a great book.
