Review: Holes is not just a story, its a story within a story within a story. You will be amazed by this book because it has many surprises. In my opinion this book is so great! Here's a question for you. How dangerous is a YeLLoW SpOotEd LiZaRd? Well I can't tell you. You would have to read the book to find out. "If you take a bad boy and make him dig holes in the hot sun he will become a good boy." Thats what say! The holes that they had to dig was 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. Now thats big! If you read the book holes you will love because certainly I love it. I couldn't put the book down when I read it,I just wanted to keep on going. In the book you will find the characters being sad, upset, happy, and lonely. I'm telling you right now that this book is so amazing you wouldn't put it down yourself. Holes is the greatest book I've read so far.

Review: Holes is now one of my favorite adventure books. I read it once in fifth grade and I recently read it out loud to my nine year old brother. He is really enjoying it and can't wait for me to finish.
Stanley Yelnats is a regular teenager with a curse that started with his great great grandfather. He got sent to Camp Green Lake (even though as you will fid out, he is not the one who should be there) to dig holes, five feet by five feet. The boys at Camp Green Lake (Stanley, x-ray, Armpit, Zero, Twitch, and a few others) have to get up at four thirty evry morning. You might think that is early but if you lived on a dry desert it would be a relief to get up when it was still cool outside. Unfortunately the boys don't get water all the time, they have to wait until their cabin leader Mr. Sir brings them some. Trust me that is a time to be happy, if you only get a refill twice a day.
Just when you think nothing else could go wrong something does. Then just when you think that there is no possible way to surrvie the terrors of Camp, there is a loophole to get you out. I hope all of you get a chance to read this amazing book by Louis Sachar.

Summary: I think Holes is a great book. I explain the reasons why.
Review: Holes is one of Louis Sacher's greatest books he has ever written. Holes is about an over-weight boy, named Stanley, who finds shoes that belong to a famous baseball player named Clyde Livingston. The problem is that Stanley doesn't know that they belong to Mr. Livingston. Thinking that he stole them as a souvenir, the cops arrest Stanley. The judge gives stanley a choice, either jail or Camp Greenlake. My favorite part is when Stanley stole car a to go look for his friend who ran away from camp greenlake. I would never do that, not even for a family member. What surprised me most is that his best friend is the one who put him in Camp Greenlake. Like his friend said " If I had just kept those shoes niether of us would be here right now."

Review: Holes is one of my all time favourite books. The plot is unique and exciting. An overweight boy called stanley gets sent to Camp Green-lake because of a crime he did not commit. What do they do all day?
They dig holes. They dig one hole a day in the hot texas sun. They aren't even allowed one bit of the shade. Because the warden owns the shade. But why, you ask, are they digging holes. Some say to build character, some say they are looking for something. But what?

What's going on, what is the secret of camp greenlake?

find out, in this amazing, funny and absolutely perfect masterpiece of a novel!

Summary: Holes
Review: Holes is one of my favorite books because it always made me laugh and was always exciting. Some of the things that happen are unbelievable. Stanley Yelnats was your average kid- almost. He gets into trouble with the police but he was innocent. No one believes him so he gets sent to a camp for boys. Everyday each boy has to dig a hole 5 ft. deep and 5 ft. in diameter. The work is extremely hard because of the heat,( the camp is in the middle of the desert) and Mr. Sir, the sort of camp director, is always on their backs. The mysterious Warden who the boys rarely see, and who Stanley has yet to see, must be looking for something. They just don't know what. Stanley and his friend Zero go on a journey for self-dicsovery and a hunt for the truth. Not to mention they have to get away from digging holes. One holes every single day adds up to a lot. Looking into Stanley's ancestor's life every once in a while throughout the book. you get a beter understanding of what's going on.
This book has a very suprising end and will keep you on your toes. Louis Sachar has a funny way of telling his stories. They are always exciting and different. I have read a few of his other books, such as, Sideways Stories from Wayside School and There is a Boy in the Girl's bathroom. I couldn't put this book down. I will definitely read more of his books!

Review: Holes is one of my favorite books. It is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. I like the fact that his name is the same forwards and backwards. Well Stanley has a curse on him because a long time ago a member of his family cheated out a gypsy. The gypsy put a curse on his family. Well the males at least. I like this book because there is a lot going on. I would recommend that everyone should read this book because it is easy to read and very entertaining. I love the books that Louis Sachar writes. I especially recommend this book to Louis Sachar fans.

Summary: Holes
Review: Holes is one of the best books I have ever read and I have very specific tastes in books. The book is a non-stop thriller that will keep you reading. I couldn't put this book down. The book is mostly about a young boy named Stanley Yelnats who was sent to a camp for juvenile criminals. He was wrongly accused of stealing shoes. There are many interesting characters, some friends, some enemies. The story also has many flash back chapters. Stanley goes through many changes both physical and mental. I recommend this book for ages 12 and up due to the complexity of the story.
