Summary: Suspenseful
Review: Holes is a riveting tale about a boy named Stanley Yelnats that is in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up in jail for a crime he didn't commit. Louis Sachar used three stories in one to keep you in suspense about how the story was going to come to an end. I love the humor behind the names of the boys in Camp Green Lake. This tale made me turn the pages. I read this book to my 6th grade classroom. They did not want me to stop; they just wanted to hear more. Fantastic novel for children to read.

Summary: Holes
Review: Holes is a story about a boy (Stanley Yelnats) who gets sent to Camp Green Lake, which is a juvenile detention center. Going to camp seems good, right? But this is no ordinary camp. In fact this lake has no water in it and as punishment you have to dig holes (5-Ft wide and 5-Ft long). He gets blamed for a robbery when two shoes fall out of the sky, that is what Stanley thinks, but they actually fell off the freeway. Stanley is always in the wrong place at the wrong time and whenever something happens they blame their "no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather". I would recommend this book to kids and adults because things aren't what they seem and this book shows that.

Summary: Review of Holes
Review: Holes is a story about a boy named Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake for a crime he didn't commit.
"Bad Boys" go there to build their character by digging holes. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. It's like a dessert. Each day, Stanley, and everyone else there, must dig one hole each that is 5 feet deep and 5 feet all the way round.
At first it's hard, but he gets used to it. He meets new friends there, everyone has a nickname. He soon discovers that the people that work at Camp Green Lake aren't just making "bad boys" dig to build their caharacter, because the Warden is looking for something. But what could the Warden be looking for? What will Stanley find and decide along his adventure?
Read it and see what happens!
I promise you, it's a great ending and you won't be dissapointed!!!

Summary: My Holes review
Review: Holes is a story within a story within a story within a story. I enjoyed reading Holes. It was exciting and fun. I did not like how it keep you hanging a little. I like books when they tell you everything.I like to know exactly how it is supposed to end.But I liked how Holes was 3 stories it never made me bored. When Louis Sachar goes into "Elya's World" I feel like I travel with him. When he brings us to "Kate Barlow's world" it was like I was in the book. When he takes us to Camp Green Lake( Stanley's World) it feels like I am with Stanly at Camp Green Lake. I like thinking and wondering in the beginng and middle of the book but at the end I like to know how the Author (Louis Sachar) says or wants it to end.If there was a Holes 2 I would with out a doubt read it!

Review: HOLES is a story within a story, within a story, within a story.I thought that HOLES was a good book. I thought that the parts about Kate Barlow were exciting. I didn't really like the ending because I don't think it goes into a lot of detail. I expeted more. I also didn't like the parts when Stanley and Zero were just walking in the desert for like weeks. I thought that it was the boring part. I also liked the part when the lizards were climbing on Stanley and Zero because of the onions. I really did think that Stanley and Zero were going to get bitten. If there is a HOLES 2, I will surely read it.

Summary: Good Book
Review: Holes is a story, within a story, within a story.I liked the book because I like how Luis Sacher wrote the book and how he kept us waiting till the end. I also liked the characters. It is about a kid named Stanley Yelnats who goes to camp greenlake, a camp for bad boys. He meets with a lot of other bad kids. Stanley's great, great grandfather liked a girl named Myra Menke and she was as empty as a flower pot.
