Rating: Summary: Hole lot of great writing Review: You must have the basic plot by now from the write-ups and the other reviews. I just wanted to add my two cents in praise of this wonderfully crafted piece of literature. While simply written ("understated" is a huge overstatement) there is a requirement to read carefully. Each and every bit of story is carefully crafted and lovingly placed in just the right spot. There is not a word or a sentence that does not add to the book. Miss a paragraph and you miss a lot. Miss this novel and there will be a hole in your collection of great books.
Rating: Summary: Holes 2 Review: You should read Holes because it is a good book. It is adventours. You can read about Staley, X-ray and Zero. You should not read the part about Stanley's no good dirty rotten pig stealing great, great grandfather. Its not that exciting. You should read the part about the Wardden. Its really cool. That's why you shoul read Holes. ...

Rating: Summary: A Hard, realistic tale with a magical twist Review: Young Stanley, a boy caught at the wrong place at the wrong time. Just blame it on his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. Stanley was caught in an act in which he didn't commit, which brings him to a 'camp' called Camp Green Lake. Don't let the name confuse you, its anything but green. Explore Stanley's journey of repenance from generations past, and a new friend that will eventually help Stanley's poor family in the end. A great book, that every adolescent should have the chance to read. Louis Sachar uses her unique style to yet write another awards winning book.
Rating: Summary: I Love Zero Review: Zero is a really smart guy in Camp Green Lake. But evey one thinks his stupid and dumb.Untill one day Zero went up to Stanley and said ''can you teach me to read''so he did. Untill one day Zero ran away from Camp Green Lake. Untill Stanley went to look for him in the desert. The worst part is when Zero got his hands hurt with the shovel. One thing I learned from the story is the yellow spotted lizards, and the second was you don't bother them they won't bother you. I would recommend this book to a friend...
