Summary: The best book I ever read!!! I luv this book 2 death!
Review: This is the best book I have ever read! It is so cool how everything ties together. My teacher read it aloud to us, and it was so mysterious she had 2 write down some of the things 4 us so we could understand (like S-t-a-n-l-e-y= his last name backwards! Y-e-l-n-a-t-s!) I urge everyone out there 2 read this book, becuz it is the coolest ever! It's like nothing I've ever read before! It's amazing how Louis Sachar ties everything together! I'm basically speechless on what to say, I love this book sooooooooo much! Please, please, please PUH-LEEEEEZE read it! Just do me a favor, K? I also want to give u some hints about the book, 1.Camp Greenlake is NOT a girlscout camp! 2.The warden is actually a girl 3.Clyde Livingston and Trout Walker DO NOT have sweetfeet! K? Ok, I don't know what else to say, except this is the phattest book out there right now, go buy it, or read it, and Justin Timberlake iz mine 4-ever, and no one else can have him but me, so buh-bye now and have an awesome day reading your new book Holes! P.S. Watch out 4 yellow spotted lizards, and take refuge on god's thumb in the Texas desert! Peace 'n hairgrease, y'all! Remember now, Justinz mine, na-chos! Get it, na-chos, not yours?! Ok, I'm gonna stop writing now, I promise! Just remember, Justinz mine, na-chos, and my name will someday be Heather Timberlake, and my motto is Justin Timberlake+Heather=Luv 4-ever and ever, and ever and ever and ever and ever and...oh yeah, go buy Holes, it's the best!

Summary: I-Man's Review
Review: This is the best book I have ever read! This is a very exciting book by my favorite author, Louis Sachar. It is about a boy who is sent to a camp for teenage delinquents. Every day he has to dig a 5x5 foot hole. There is disgusting food, mean workers, and just about everything that can happen. This is a great book!

Summary: Brynn's update on Holes
Review: This is the best book I have ever read! You should read it!There is also a movie on it.I would reccomened it to anybody who likes mysteries.

Stanley was accused of stealing. He got sent to Camp Green Lake to dig holes. He meets friends with wierd nicknames. They band together to discover a mystery of the unknown.

The author did a great job writing the book.He could of done a little vit better telling where Twitch,Armpit,Zigag,X-ray,Magnet,and Squid went. They just seem to disappear.

I think this book sends out a strong message. It is ,you can find family without even knowing them.

Summary: In Love With This book
Review: This is the best book I have ever read. I read it to my third grade class and they have never responded to a book in this way. My students were dry and thirsty, tired and broken as I read the book. This book came to our school book fair and all 19 of my children saved up money to buy thier own copy and that is amazing in itself!

Summary: Best Book I've read
Review: This is the best book I've read! It's filled with lots of holes to fill in while still making it interesting and action packed. Louis Sachar really hints you off with metaphorical stuff. An example would be that the book is named Holes; the main character, Stanley is sent to a juvenile correctional facility and made to dig holes, while he digs them you must go back and forth in time to fill them in.

The story is about a boy, Stanley, who's family is poor. He doesn't have many friends at school. He is "cursed by his great-great-grandfather." And he winds up at Camp Green Lake for supposedly stealing a pair of shoes. Stanley's character goes through a major change throughout the story. As you find out about things of the past you will learn more about people, Camp Green Lake, and how everything and everyone comes together.

Read it.

Summary: captivating, why did the story have to end!
Review: This is the best book we have read in a long time. Mr. Sachar does a wonderful job of using foreshadowing and name sybolism to help make the connections in this exciting book. Several of us have bought the book for our personal library. Will any book be as great as Holes? Thank you for an exciting adventure in reading.

Summary: Interesting
Review: This is the first book I've read by Louis Sachar, and I liked it a lot. I would recommend this book to a younger audience, perhaps middle schoolers. I loved the ending because it left me wondering what else happened. But you had to pay attention to the little details because things that happened earlier in the book had an impact on the outcome.
