Rating: Summary: An Amazing Book! Review: This book was the most exciting and well written book I have ever read. A boy named Stanley goes to Camp Green Lake as punishment for a crime that he did not commit. Camp Green Lake is actually a dried up lake in which the campers must dig large holes in the hard dirt every day. He finds many strange things during his time at Camp Green Lake and finally starts to piece together the truth behind this strange place and how it relates to his own family history. Everything makes sense in the end, and if you read it long enough you will understand the clever way the author has created this wonderful story.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: This book was very detailed and it had a very good plot and storyline. It followed the reader closly and it made several connections between Stanley's life andother stories told within the book. Even though the book included several stories of Stanley's relatives and Kate barlow they all connected and it made sense. However the auther left off apruptly and he left the reader with unanwsered questions. A follow up storey is advised.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: This book was very discriptive and had alot of interesting topics in it that I thought was very cool. I think people should buy this book to get a better sense of what a kids point of veiw is on crime and the world.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: This book was very good it had alot of detail! READ IT! It was one big circle!

Rating: Summary: A very good book Review: This book was very good. It wasn't just the main story plot that was good, but there were more than one stories going on at the same time. This helped to explain the book to you as you went along. All of the stories pull together in the end and make this a great book.
Rating: Summary: this is the best book ever!!!... Review: this book was very intriguing to me and i really liked it because it was very challenging and gave me alot to think about when I am making the connections. This book is about a kid how is accuseed of stealing a pair of shoes and is sent to a camp that was once a lake and now it is all dried up.then he has to dig a hole every day and the preson how ownes the place. The woman is looking for something. While he was at the camp he also met some very intresting people, people that were nice to him and his worst nightmare, and when he is at camp he finds someone that knows what really happend and that stanly (the kid at the camp) really did not steal the shoes.
Rating: Summary: Captures your attention Review: This book was very well written and captured our attention from the get go. It was a little confusing at the beginning because of the different storylines, but then the author cleverly intertwined them and by the end of the novel it all came together. We are Baylor University Education Majors, and we would definitely use this book in our classroom one day.
Rating: Summary: He is blamed for stealing and sent to a horable camp. Review: This book was wierd and fasanating at the same time. It was also very suspencful.
Rating: Summary: A Great Book Review: This book was wonderful. A nice plot and character detail was excellent. If you enjoy stories with suspicion and laughter, this book is for you! I read this many times, and it is sincerely a page-turner. As great as Harry Potter! This book is indeed one of my favorites of all time! A boy named Stanley is unjustly sent to a boy's detention center, where everything there changes his life! It may be a bit confusing at first, but everything starts to make sense and kick in soon. It is very nice to read!
