Rating: Summary: This book was awesomely cool Review: This book was fun to read. The cover wasn't great, but the story was good. I like how it made you "fill in the holes" at the end. I liked it when they found refuge under "God's Thumb" and I also liked it when they kept telling us stories within the main story.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WOULD BE A GOOD BOOK FOR KIDS THAT LIKE TO READ Review: THIS BOOK WAS GOOD. IT WAS LONG BUT WORTH THE TIME. THE AUTHOR LOUIES SACHAR MIXED THREE STORIES INTO ONE CONCLUTION. THE BOOK WAS GOOD AND I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD GO OUT AND READ THIS BOOK.
Rating: Summary: Best book in ages!!! Review: This book was great in so many different ways. I also think it attracts such a veriety of ages. The plot was a little slow in the beggining but it wakes up a little in to the middle of the book.As I said it is the best book (not including Harry Potter of course) in ages.My hats of to Louis Sacher. It was really top draw.
Rating: Summary: To stay alive or not to stay alive? Review: This book was great! It has many mysteries in it and it all connected from one link to another. When I started the book it was really hard to put it down. You keep on wondering what was going to happen next. This was mainly about a boy named Stanley with a a curse and a camp called Camp Green Lake where there is no lake but a desert with deadly animals. Stanley is digging holes in the camp but the Warden is looking for something. Now its all about Stanley getting out of there and getting that something the Warden is looking for. Except,he has to get out... alive.
Rating: Summary: Not your typical kid fare. Review: This book was great, if a little disturbing at times. It incorparates two stories (one about a boy who goes to "Camp Greenlake"- a boys detention center- on a false charge, and the other about a school marm turned outlaw who lived on the same land 100 years ago) that are a perfect match for each other. They both provide insights into the other story and finally come together at the end with a big surprise. You'll be rooting for "Caveman" the entire way, even when the things he does are beyond comprehension. Once again, Sachar has produced a wonderful page turner with literary merit as well.
Rating: Summary: AWSOME Review: This book was great. I could read it a million times if I wanted to. This book comes together at the end. It is like puzzle book. This is one of the best I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: This book was great. I'm 13 and I loved this book. My friends were telling me how good this book was and how exciting it was. So I provoked my English to make the class read it. Once we finished it everyone loved it. Even some of the people who hate to read. THis is a book for all ages. The ending was an irony. I reccomned this book to everyone whether you hate to read or you love to read.
