Summary: My Book Review on Holes
Review: The book I am reviewing is Holes. The author is Louis Sachar. I am giving this book five stars because it has lots of adventure, action, and more. The story is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats that is framed. The police think he stole the shoes. Then he goes to court. They think he is guilty, so he goes to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is kind of a jail for boys. It's a dessert and they dig holes five feet deep and five feet wide. There's a curse on the Yelnats family. Their great, great grandpa wants to get married to a beautiful woman. So he goes to a fortune teller, Madam Zeroni. She says take that small pig, carry the pig up the mountain every day. Then when he is fat carry me up the mountain. If you forget to come back for me your family will be cursed for ever and eternity. So he carried the pig up the mountain the last day he didn't go back because he didn't want to smell bad before he saw her. Read the book to find out more.

Summary: Choice Reading Book Review
Review: The book I read for choice reading was Holes by Lavis Sachar. It was one of the best books I have ever read. I liked how Lauis Sachar had a glimpse of the past in a paragraph and then he would go right back to the present tense. I thought he could have made a better ending for the story. He should have said what happened to the warden and camp green lake. The only sentence on what happened to the warden was, "Ms. Walker who was in desperate need of money had to sell the land which had been in her family for generations". Page 229. I think that Holes is one of the best books.

The book was very good it has a good moral and theme. The theme of the book is if you are nice to others you will get rewarded. This book was very hard to find out its theme. I believe it is a true theme because if you are nice to others they will do something for you. This relates to my life. One day I gave someone my lunch and he bought me lunch for two days. This book was very good for me I learned a lot.

I would recommend this book to others because it is a great book. This is one of the best books I have ever read. It was very interesting through out the entire book. It is a long book but you can read it fast. I would recommend this book to others to read. Someone recommended this book to me and I am glade they did.

Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER!
Review: The book I read was called Holes. I think think the movie made more sense to me than the book.It was a great book.
The setting was described enough for me to understand that Stanley got hit with a pair of shoes and was sent on a bus to Camp Green Lake. In the book Stanley was fat. It doesn't seem believable to me that a fat kid could carry Zero up a mountain.
Zero is a kid at camp. He is short and his real name is Hector.
Stanley is heavy and poor.
In the plot everything tied together. Like, the peaches from Ms.Katherine to Sam was what the sploosh was that Zero found in the boat.
I think that the theme was the curse. The curse caused the whole book. Madam Zeroni casted that curese on Stanley's no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealin-great-grandfather.Most of the things that happened were caused by the curse. That which made the book and movie very good. It is the best book I ever read.

Summary: holes
Review: The book I read was Holes and I thought it was a very good book. It made you wanting to keeping reading it because you didn`t know what was goin to happen next. The book was also good because it taught friendship and how to care for people you like even tough u hardly know them. What really got to me was the part when Stanley the main character carried Zero up the mountain instead of leaving him and then found out that you need water to make mud. After he figured that out he dug a holde and found water to give to Zero and himself so they wouldnt dehydrate and die. I also thought it was nice of nice of Stanley to teach Zero how to read and write even tough the counselers thought of Zero as nothing. Stanley also showed respect for Zero by not asking questions that Zero would get mad at. Overall I thought this book was very good and I rate it with a four. I would encourage people of all ages to read this book because they would enjoy it.
