Rating: Summary: Holes Is Awesome Review: Stanley ends up at a camp. He has to dig a hole 5 feet deep and wide every day. One day his friend runs away. He goes after him on a journey that leaves him and his family rich. Also in another plot his great-great-great- grandfather fails to complete a deal. Which leaves his family cursed. Stanley completes the deal. In a book where two plots come together and you half to read it a second time to understand. I would recommend this book to anybody and everybody. Two thumbs up for Holes.

Rating: Summary: Extrememely entertaining; full of twists and turns. Review: Stanley is a character everyone should read about. The story touches the human spirit as it lets you into a world that interconnects with magic. Sacher really outdoes himself interweaving all the characters into one great fantastic ending. You really don't want this story to end.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: Stanley is a little boy stuck at a camp. They have to dig all day long. He took the place of a boy named barphbag he was sent to the hostpital. His friend had a small shuvel because he had it from his house. If he ran away there would be nothing but sand. And he had a bad teacher that yeld when he said every thing. They had to dig a hole as big as them. But he ran away to another boy and they ate onions.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: Stanley is the main character of the book Holes. He is accused of stealing a pair of shoes. For his punishment he has to go to Camp Green Lake. The camp was supposed to build character. I thought it was just a way to get rid of bad kids. By sending kids to Camp Green Lake people didn't have to worry about them getting into trouble. I highly recommend this book. There is a lot of drama and Stanley is very self conscious in this story. He battles a lot of stuff including the staff at Camp Green Lake, yellow spotted lizards and himself. As you can tell this book is very interesting. I thought it was a good book and I would like to read it again.
Rating: Summary: a great book Review: Stanley was sent to this camp for stealing a pair of shoes, and he had to dig a hole every day. It was a good book, I really enjoyed the book. It was easy to understand and it was interesting.
Rating: Summary: The Best Plotted Story I've Ever Read! Review: Stanley Yelants digs himself into a few holes by accidently being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ends up at some kind of boot camp and is digging holes till he gets let out. With a plot that keeps you hooked and whining for more when it's time to turn out the light, Holes takes you through a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. The end will surprise you in many ways! I recommend this book to an adult, also, because he or she will be wondering why they didn't make these kind of books for people there age! I also recommend this book who loves a good book that makes you think.
Rating: Summary: Another great Louis Sachar book!!! Review: Stanley Yelnats (The main character)was convicted of stealing shoes from a homeless shelter.Instead of going to jail he went to Camp Green Lake,a work camp. At Green Lake, as a character building exercise, he had to dig a five foot HOLE every day for a year and a half. That is where Louis Sachar got the name Holes for this interesting book. I hope you enjoy Holes as much as I did.
