Summary: Holes Fantastico
Review: If you think books are boring, read Holes. It is a great book. The ingrediants are: 2 cups adventure, 2 cups friendship, 3 cups courage, and a little pinch of romance to spice it. Read Holes. It is the best book for children in thier teens.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Holes review
Review: If you want a good book, don't choose Holes by Louis Sacher. This book stinks. Cops have to know about what they do there. It's in the middle of a desert, people are going to wonder what they're doing there since there's no lake or grass. Also, how are the kids' moms going to send mail to them, and how do they send out mail without a mailman coming to get the mail? Fate plays too much of a big role in this book.

Summary: The Best Book I Have Ever Read!
Review: If you want to read a book about action and adventure, this is the book for you! This book is about a boy named Stanley. The men in Stanley's family are cursed. This book shows how Stanley gets rid of his bad luck, because he's always in the wrong place at the wrong time. I have read so many books and so far, this has been my favorite one. I think you will love this book too!

Summary: It was great!!!!!
Review: If you were in a dried up lake and was forced to dig holes all day...What Would You Do? 12 year-old Stanley Yelnats is in just that position. He and his friend Zero were put in a correctional facility named Camp Green Lake placed in Green Lake, Texas. They have to get up at 4:30 A.M. and dig a hole five feet deep and five feet wide in any direction. When one of the characters runs away, the other one is determined to get him/her back. So in short I liked the book. It was a very exciting book. Stanley is, I think, the best developed character in any books I have read recently. He and Zero were so realistic sometimes I thought I was at the camp too. Mr. Sir and Mr. Pendanski were, I think, the two best bad guys in any book I have ever read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This book is good but not good enough for a historious novel
Review: If you would live a day in the life of Stanley Yelnats shoes you would know what it would be like to live life from every aspect of view. Stanley has been made fun of, convicted, and been a hero in this story. But I am not going to tell you all the aspects of the story so you will just have to read it for yourself if you want some astonishment action packed drama.

Summary: Strange, but loveable.
Review: If you're expecting another Wayside School book, this isn't it. However, Sachar's usual odd humor is present. My class of fifth graders loved it. They moaned each time we stopped reading and were eager each day to begin. The book also has good messages: keep promises, be kind, and my favorite- what goes around, comes around.

Summary: Holes ~ Not Just For Kids
Review: If you're thinking about seeing the movie "Holes" do yourself a favor and read the book first. The book Holes is pretty much standard reading in middle school. If you know someone who has been in the 6th grade recently, then he/she has probably read Holes. A friend of mine who is a 7th grade English teacher, gave me a copy of the book. He insisted that I read it before I go see the movie. I'm glad I did. The story was amusing, exciting, funny and absurd in the style of Kurt Vonnegut. I liked this book a lot. I'd read it again. Two thumbs up! I can't wait to see the movie.
