Review: I thought the book holes was good. It was about a boy named Stanley,Yelnats.When he is convicted of a crime he did not do he has a choice between jail or camp green lake.He choses camp green lake thinking it would be better than jail. But he was wrong it was worst than jail the warding would make them dig holes to find a tresure.

Review: I thought the book Holes was great and wonderful but there were some ups and downs. The book was very suspenseful. The book was full of suprises. I love the way Sachar makes his quotes--
for example, "no-good-dirty-rotten..." or "I can fix that." I also liked how Sachar gave the characters their names, such as Twitch or Zero. Sachar would keep going back and forth in the book. Sachar would talk about this generation then talk about something else and then go back to the same generation. It would be like your mom always reminding you something every minute.I didn't like when he threw in characters and barely used them, and when things wouldn't make sense to me. Otherwise, I loved the book.

Review: I thought the book Holes was number one of all books i ever raed. I dont raed a real lot but as a young STUDENT WHO DOES PUTTING EVERY THING WE READ IN SCHOOL aside. I could not put this book down I would highly recommed this book to any one who enjoys lafter, sadness, and exsitting endings.i did't want the book to end although i love the ending how stanley yelnats was a wonder full person who gained a lot. this will give student a thought how to make the best of a unhappy situation with a happy ending and to feel good about yourself no matter what and stanley and zero really desever the ending so i would addvise you to read the great and wonderfull uplifting book holes.

Review: I thought the book Holes was ok. There were some good parts and bad parts. Some of the good things in the story were, Stanley learned a lesson, he made a friend, he got in shape, and he saved a life. I also thought there were a lot of bad things in this story. Stanly had to go to Detention camp, he had to cover for the other boys like X-Ray and all the others. I wouldn't recommend this book beacuse it's an ok book but I would rather read a great book than an ok book.

Review: I thought the book Holes was pretty good. I thought it was good because the story within a story within a story was cool how it came out in the end. But at the end Louis Sachar didn't tell me enough. My favorite character is Zero because he is funny, the way he talks and sounds. There are many interesting characters in the book Holes, like Myra Menke whose head is as empty as a flower pot and the one-legged gypsy,Madame Zeroni. Also there is Sam the Onion Man and Kissin Kate Barlow. My favorite line is when something gos wrong Stanley blames it on his "no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather." Holes is a book of secrets so you are in for a doozy. Holes was one of my favorite books so I hope you will enjoy as much as I did.

Review: I thought the book was the best book i had ever read. It cuaght my attention out of know were i can't lie to you i loved the book the most exciting part is when zero hit mr.Pandanskie in the face with the shovel.and im not going to tell you eney more you just have to find out yourself and im also glad thatmy teacher took the time to pick out this wonder ful book. my faverit character is stanley yelnats he was a hero in the book because he saved zeos life by taking hi to goods thumb thats why hes my faverit character . another character is the worden she's mean she has red hair,freckles and she puts posin in her dark red nail polish and she got so ma done time and she scrached mr.sir and thats all im going to tll you till nexed time bye bye :)

Review: I thought the book was very interesting. I like the way I was held in suspense. I couldn't put the book down I needed to find out what would happen next. My favorite parts were when Stanley had flashbacks to his great-great grandfather's time. It's a great book if you want to go on an adventure.
