Summary: Holes
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I am a girl and thought that this book would be for boys. However, one of the main characters was a women. This women character was in charge of all of the boys in a juvinile camp. It would be nice to be able to tell a group of mean boys what to do. The most interesting part of the book was how the characters were so tied together by their family history. It was full of action and kept me trying to untie all of the hidden parts of the story.

Summary: Great and Exciting Book!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting and suspenseful. The book Holes was about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. His last name is his first name spelled backwards. He is taunted and teased at school because of his size and weight. One day while walking home from school, a pair of shoes fell onto his head. The police caught him and he was accused of stealing the shoes. He went to court and he was sentenced to go to a juvenile boy's camp called Camp Green Lake. Here the boys had a to dig a hole everyday that was 5 feet wide by 5 feet deep. Their shovel was their measuring tool. All the boys at the camp had nicknames. Stanley was named "Caveman". He made friends with a boy named "Zero". "Caveman" helped teach "Zero" how to read and "Zero" helped "Caveman" dig holes faster. I think this book was really exciting and you should buy it.

Summary: A Good Book To Read
Review: I really enjoyed this book. The characters come alive to me. I felt good when Stanley was happy and sad when he was unhappy. I liked the way I had to figure out the story instead of the author telling what the story is about. I really liked all the descriptions that the author put in. I could imagine the lizard's white tongue and its red eyes.

Summary: Holes
Review: I really enjoyed this book. The characters have a wide spread of feelings, and names for each other. This book tells about, how a sneaker comes to be the reason for two of the boys, Zero, and Stanley Yelnats (his first name is his last name backwards). The ending is very good. If you want to read the book, you will have to fill in the holes at the end yourself !

Summary: Dissapointing.
Review: I really like Louis Sachar's books, but this is a mistake.... I read this in 2 days. Boring, actually. The book is about a kid who goes to juvenile hall because he stole some athlete's sneakers. The flashbacks in the book are really boring. The most intresting charecter, the warden, was hardly focused on. Please, don't waste your time.

Summary: Diggin' Holes 1 By 1
Review: I really like the book. I wouldn't like to dig holes all day. I wouldn't want to go to a juvenile camp. It was funny when Zero hit Mr. Pendanski with a shovel. I would have enjoyed being on top of Big Thumb, it would teach you many good lessons on how to survive. I really enjoyed this bood and would recommend everyone to read it.

Summary: Holes
Review: I really liked holes because I really like fiction storys. Thestoryline was interesting, and it made me keep reading. If you likefiction, I would sugest this book. The only reason I gave it 4 starswas because the ending of the story was dull, and it left me with many questions

Summary: Holes Review
Review: I really liked Holes because it was a book that always keeps you waiting, wanting to find out how the situation is going to turn out in the end. I think the part that I liked the most was when Stanley and Zero are practically pushing up daisies when they find Onion Sam's secret onion patch. When this happens you realize how everything in the story that you have already read is falling into place. When you are reading you think to yourself, "Hey that sounds familiar" and then you remember that Onion Sam had a secret onion field that no one knew where it was. Then you're thinking about the story and you're wondering how something that was around 110 years ago that helped people then is able to help people now. This is why I liked Holes so much because it really makes you think and the story is so good that you would probably have a couple different answers when you're thinking about what's going to happen next.
