Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I loved the book especially how it wraps it all up at theend. I really liked the story line and the side story of the past. Ialso enjoyed all the interaction beetween characters such as how all the boys treated him from beggining to end. If you read this book and I sinserily hope that you do you should be extremely carefully to remember the details otherwise the end will really throw you. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes awesome endings. It may seem that this review focuses mainly on the ending but thats because the ending makes this story what it is.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I loved the book Holes by Louis Sachar. It captured my attention right away and never let it go. I want to read it again and again. I couldn't get my eyes of the page, they seemed to be glued on the page and I couldn't get them off. The story seemed to be a gigantic 1,000 piece puzzle that you have to put together. You can never figure what is going to happen next. The book has a big roller coaster of events. The characters each had their own unique personality. Stanley Yelnats the main character is shy and scared and mad when he gets to Camp Green Lake for bad boys because he always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He blames his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig stealing-great-great-grandfather because he has never been lucky at all. Camp Green Lake is anything but green and Stanley has to dig a hole all day in the blazing sun. Mr. Sir is a mean man with no humor and can get quite mean. Stanley's counselor isn't to mean but isn't that great either. The warden is the one in charge of everything and seems to want something. Stanley also meets other diggers that are in his tent. They have their own personalities and nicknames. There is an enchanting mystery about the camp that really reels the readers in. It is fantastic!

Rating: Summary: yellow-spotted Ice cream sundae Review: I loved the book. It is very emotional and it's suspenseful. A lot of the things that you think are going to happen do happen. The book has a lot of secrets that you have to figure out for yourself. The last chapter of the book is filling in the holes. I bet you think that the last chapter is what it sez well it is but in a different way. The story has a pig in it. A lot of people think that the pig doesn't play an important role but it does. It is truly one of the best books ever I hope you enjoy the book. I did.

Rating: Summary: awesome book!! Review: I loved this book by Louis Sachar!! He is a wonderful young adult author with hits like There's a Boy in the in the Girl's Bathroom, and the Wayside Stories series. Stanley Yelnats is a boy who has had a bad twist of fate. He is accused of stealing a sneaker belonging to a famous sports star that was donated to charity. Even though he is innocent, he is sent to Camp Greelake, a camp where you are sent if you commit a crime. Camp Greenlake: a lake to swim in, fun and sun, sounds great doesn't it!! NOT!! The boys are forced to dig holes in the sweltering, broiling sun. And that "lake"? It dried up half a century ago!! Read it and see what happens! I promise you, it's a great ending and you won't be dissapointed!!!
