Rating: Summary: A book that I could never forget Review: I love this book because it is really good. Another reason is that it is two stories in one. My favorite character in this book is Zero.Zero is my favorite character because he keeps everything to himself and works very fast. the best part of this book to me is when Zero and Stanley run away from Camp Green Lake. I also like when they went to god's thumb. The ending to this book was very surprising to me. It was so surprising that I felt like reading this book over and over again.
Rating: Summary: Da Review on Holes Review: I love this book! If you're wondering, it is not about digging holes! Well, it kinda is! Stanley Yelnats gets in trouble for stealing shoes. He says the shoes fell from the sky. "Hey, Caveman is cool!" It turns out that the lump is not caveman, I am. Stanley is a nice kid who is a little overweight. It takes place at a 100 year old "lake" which is now dry and hot! I like how Louis Sachar uses a lot of flashbacks.Stanley is really.........read to find out!!! I was stunned to find out Stanley was......read to find out!!!
Rating: Summary: Holes is Awesome Review: I love this book! It is one of my favorites! I teach fifth grade and my kids love it when I read this book to them. It draws the reader in and won't let go. It is wonderful!
Rating: Summary: MY REVIEW Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK! The book holes mixes the past and the present. I gave this book to my cousin he loved it, anyway I am a girl and even though it is a story of a boy as I said at the beginning of this review, I LOVE IT. So dig in!
Rating: Summary: 5 Wonderfully Odd Stars! Review: I love this book! There's just something about it that is so captivating. The plot is twisted and strange. By the end of the book, I found myself wondering how any human being could come up with a story that is so brilliantly twisted. I loved the development of the characters. Zero is one weird dude, but there is something about him... something that makes you want to read between the lines. And those rattlesnake-poison-infested fingernails! YIKES! This is a neat book. Adults and teenagers will both love this book. I am 24 and my husband is 27 -- we both loved it!
Rating: Summary: A "HOLE" lot of fun Review: I love this book, when I read this book I felt the author really knew what he was doing when he wrote this book. I love how, when you're reading this book, you have to pay attention to the little details in the begging because they all come together in the end. I've read this book 3 times and every time I realized something that I didn't the other time. I would suggest this book to anybody who likes to read, even if you're an adult this book would seem interesting to you. It's a book that the whole family will fight over the rights to read it next. I feel somewhat sorry for Stanley,I mean he was sent to a detention camp on accounts of a crime he didn't even commit. Even though this was a bad thing for Stanley. It all works out for the good in the end.
Rating: Summary: This book has no plot holes Review: i love this book. i read it, and then reread it again and again. the book is about a boy named Stanley, whose grandfather a long time ago was robbed by kissin' kate barlow. and stanley's gandfather's father a long time ago had a curse put on him by a gypsy. now, in the present day, Stanley is at a camp where bad boys dig holes as a punishment, and by some cruel twist of luck, he meets the great grandson of the gyspy who cursed his family line, and also accidently got him stuck in the holes digging camp. io love how the book all clicks together at the end, and everything is explained, and nothing is left behind. its like puzzle: it all fits. always.
Rating: Summary: This book is an awesome read Review: I love this book. I really feel that the author did a great job of making the characters real, I felt like I knew Stanley. I also really liked how the story was so layered, there were many different stories in this one little book. I felt challenged by the book and I am very thankful that I had an opportunity to read it.
Rating: Summary: This book was exellent! Review: I love this book. My favorit part was when Stanley started to teach Zero to read, and zero started to add every thing together. Then Stanley realized that Zero was smart.
Rating: Summary: This book was a fabulous story I'll never forget. Review: I love this so much because it's a book of sadness, mystery, adventure and determination. I usually don't like reading huge and long books but this one was a definite exception. At first when I began this book I wasn't sure if should have kept reading it but soon I got into the book and began loving it. This book left me filled with excitment and hanging at the end of questioning chapters.
