Summary: Fun for All Ages!
Review: What can you say about a classic? Well part of the joy is rediscovering this fun book as an adult, too. In fact, I've takend this book with friends to nights out at bars, and every time as we start to read it aloud and pass it around (a good sobriety test too) others come over and join in. It's true. In the end everyone loves Green Eggs and Ham.

Summary: NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS ONE!
Review: This book has been around for such a very long time and it is still going strong. I can remember reading this book to my eldest daughter when she was three or four years old, and the book was read to her so many times that she could eventually repeat back every word to me. My daughter is now 36 years old and her daughter is 12. Both can still recite all the words without the book. Over the years, the catchy words will forever remain with you.

Aside from the simple words, the book portrays a very important message - do not be afraid to try new things. As a parent and counsellor, I can attest to the fact that message can be one of life's greatest learning experiences not only for children but for adults as well. We never know what we can accomplish or what we can achieve until we try. In addition, some things are not always what they seem. If you have never read a Dr. Seuss book, you have no idea of what you or your children are missing. Of all the Seuss books, this is an all-time favourite.

Summary: An essential part of the toddler canon
Review: What can I add to all the other reviews? If you don't read your child GREEN EGGS AND HAM, she will be an uneducated laughingstock, shunned by her peers and ignorant in the ways of her people. Read her GREEN EGGS AND HAM today!

Summary: Who doesn't love this book?
Review: We've all read this book, and still whenever I have read this to a group of small children, I feel as if I am enjoying as much as they are. From the pictures to the text, there's nothing like a good Seuss book, and that this one is.

Summary: Still Great After All These Years
Review: I am one of nine sisters, all with children. With two sons of my own, I did a lot of reading to children. The kids all loved this book so much, I read it so many times, even now I can recite most of the book by heart. I now have three grandchildren and they love Green Eggs and Ham just as much as their parents did. It is one of those books you never throw away, just keep handing it down generations.

Summary: Classic poem with a familiar lesson
Review: What better way to teach children the lesson "don't knock it 'til you try it" than with this book? With lively rhyme and repetition, Seuss shows that a person can enjoy something, as long as she or he gives it a chance. The drawings are good, too, especially the one where the main character finally realizes that he DOES, he DOES, like green eggs and ham.

Summary: I don't know a soul, young or old who doesn't like this book
Review: I'm convinced that anyone who has read this book or has had it read to them has thoroughly enjoyed it.

Summary: Green Eggs and Ham is something you should try!
Review: I like it a lot, but I do not like when he says "I do not like that Sam-I-Am " because it's not nice.

Summary: A lesson well learned
Review: Hi, I'm a ten-year-old fourth grader named Christopher. This book teaches us kids to try food we have never tried in our life before. It is a true fact because it's happened to me. I was about nine years old and my mom served me brussel spouts. I thought they looked sort of funny looking, so I told her that I don't want them, but she said that I have never tried them before, so I tried them and I loved them and now it is one of my favorite foods. Just like in Dr. Seuss' book, kids like me should try all kinds of food. If you like to read and eat this is a book for you.

Summary: The Flaps are loads of fun - but the stickers are confusing
Review: The flap and sticker version of this classic Seuss tale is a bit different from the original (much of the repetition so necessary for beginning readers has been editted or deleted). However the FLAPS are a really fun way to get toddlers involved in the action of reading the book - my two year old LOVES it. The STICKERs on the other hand are confusing - only the mouse, fox, and goat have obvious places and ALL on the LAST PAGE. Other stickers don't appear to go in the book at all. Just put in those stickers and make it a FLAP book - it's a GREAT FLAP BOOK!
