Summary: Green eggs and (soy) ham--veggie I am
Review: OK--so I'm a vegetarian--and 60 years old, no less-- but I still love the book Green Eggs and (soy, of course!) Ham. How I love Dr. Seuss! How I love the wit and humor! Now as much as I loved the book that doesn't mean I'd eat green eggs or green soy ham, however-yuk!

Got a kick out of the authors' listing: "Green Eggs and Ham--Seuss et al"? very punny

Love Cat In the Hat, too--oh what can I do? ButI would also like to recommend 2 other books: these have to do with children's (and adults') love of pets, but these books tackle the loss of that beloved pet with much grace and comfort. For Every Dog an Angel starts with the puppy's getting an angel at birth, and when a dog bonds with its "forever person" the angel is very happy. The angel stays with its dog throughout its life and when the "forever dog" passes over the angel turns into a bridge in order for it to do this. Sometimes the dog passes back across the bridge to visit, and children are told that perhaps they will hear pawsteps when they are out walking, or see their covers rumpling. This is beautifully handled for little children (and adults!). We are then informed that when it is finally time for us to pass over, there is a joyful reunion with our "forever pet". This book is a treasure!Another book, dealing with the loss of a pet that will bring those who have sustained a loss great comfort is The Soul of Your Pet. Has amazing, solid evidence of animal afterlife. Skeptics beware: you won't be anymore after reading this book. Biblically-sound, as well (ages 12 to adult).

Summary: Good for kids!
Review: This book is about a guy who has green eggs and ham, and tries to make another person eat them. At first, the other guy doesn't want to eat them, but at the end he does. This is a good book.

Summary: This is the best all-time classic Dr. Seuss book!!!
Review: I remember when my mom used to read this to me, and I could never get enough of it! I'm going to read it to my kids, and I'll just keep on passing it down the line so that my future families can cherish this work of art. You can't beat this book, I'm telling you.

Summary: It's a classic...
Review: An amazing work by an amazing author, this book is worthy of memorization. Having committed this and a few other of his books to memory, long car trips are no longer such a nuisance.

Summary: I learned how to read by reading this book! It's Great!
Review: My sister who is 3 years old, is starting to learn to read this book too. I help her with the words. I like the name Sam-I-Am!

Summary: it was boring
Review: The book wasnt fun because it didn't rhyme as much as other Dr.suess book

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Asinine, Boring Book
Review: This book is SOOOOOOOO annoying! What's the deal with all the rhyming? That got on my last nerve. I can't believe this book is a children's "classic". This book does for childrens' books what Jim Jones did for children's drinks (kool-aid, that is). If you want a GREAT children's book, try "Atlas Shrugged" the pop-up book by Ayn Rand.

Summary: Green Eggs and Ham is groovy!!!!!!!
Review: Dr.Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham is a groovy book for kids, especially kids learning how to read. The words and sentences are repeated more than once giving practice for younger kids. The pictures are very colorful and bright. The illustrations have the usual Dr.Seuss talent. This is a fantastic book!

Summary: "Wonderful"
Review: I think this book interesting because its fun to read and kids will enjoy it. It is also a great read aloud book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book!
Review: The illustrations are cute and the rhymes are catchy, but like Seuss's other books The Lorax and The Butter Battle Book, there's more to it than meets the eye. It's a book about being open-minded to new things. Heck, there's some adults out there who need to learn that lesson. Read this book! If your life isn't changed, at least you'll get to impress (or annoy) people by reeling of long lists of where you will not eat green eggs and ham. ("I would not eat them in a box, I would not eat them with a fox, I would not eat them in a house, I would not eat them with a mouse...")
