Summary: Delicious Reading
Review: This is one of the most famous of all kids' books, and rightly so. In Dr. Seuss's classic story, Sam tries mightily to persuade his friend to eat some green eggs and ham. His entreaties, followed by the progressively longer refusals are accompanied by whimsical bright drawings against simple backgrounds. One can only say that it is "Seussian." Whether the denouement will help your kids eat formerly suspicious foods is debatable, but it will probably increase their hunger for more fun reading. A great book for the beginning reader as well!

Review: There are several reasons why "Green eggs and Ham" ismy favorite book. I have loved this book since I was little, when my older sister read it to me. The resons why it's my favorite book is I love eggs, I like the rhyming parts in it, and I love the author Dr. seuss. The first reason why this is my all time favorite book is I love eggs. I will eat eggs no matter what color they are unless they are raw. I love eggs so much. I love to eat. My favorite food is smoked ham. Ittastes so sweet. The secoind reason why this is my all time favorite book is I like to read rhyming words. It sounds so cool to read rhyming words. When my sister started reding this book to me, I said, "Hey, there is rhyming words in there," and that's also why it was my all time favorite book. The third reason why this is my all time favorite book is I love to read Dr. Seuss books. I love to read his books because like I said he always ryhmes in his books. I love rhyming because it gets more interesting and you want to keep reading it. It doesn't so much keep you in suspense. I mean it's a kid's book why would it keep you in suspense. In conclusion, this book is one of my favorites because of those three reasons. I will always like this book. I wil probably keep it till the future when I have kids so I can read it to my kids.

Review: After being challenged by his editor to write a book using less than 50 elementary words, Dr. Seuss created this book. Many of us can recite this from memory due to this word usage. Dr. Suess doesn't have the abstract quality of other books such as Dr. Seuss' ABC book in this one. The language is plain and simple. There is just one question that needs to be answered, Do You like Green Eggs and Ham? Sam I Am only asks if he would like them in different locations and odd company, but each word used in this book is in the dictionary. The youngest child can easily understand what is being said. The illustrations are typical Dr. Seuss. They are putting some elements of the story in action that isn't even implied in the dialogue. This is a clever book that Dr. Seuss wrote. It should be part of every child's collection.

Review: .There's nothing to compare with Dr Suess. After 40 years he still tops the best selling lists. "Green Eggs and Ham" is without doubt one of his best. What is it that makes this book so much fun? The repetition of the question and the unchanging answer at first could be seen to be very annoying. But it's the subtle changes, the relentless pleading and the inventive possibilities that intrigue us. Most children and their parents could learn a few tricks in persuasiveness from this book. .

Review: As a child my mom would read Green Eggs and Ham to me when I wouldn't eat my spinach or my broccoli or my lima beans or whatever it was that I wasn't eating. The book explained to me that you don't know if you like something until you try it. I still have the copy of the book that my mom gave me and I still enjoy opening it up to read the wonderful rhymes of Sam I am and his stuggle with where he won't eat Green Eggs and Ham. This is my favorite Dr. Seuss book and I don't think there are too many people out there that would disagree with me.
