Summary: A must read book for every Thomas fan
Review: We purchased this book to read to my almost three-year-old son who is a huge Thomas fan. When I got home and began reading to him, I found that I was very interested too. While we have many different Thomas books, this puts all the stories in the correct order and includes many Thomas stories we had never heard of before. While I haven't read very many stories to him yet, I find myself reading the book whenever I have a few minutes to do nothing. It is a great find to have all the original versions of the stories on which the current videos, etc. are based. This book is well worth the money. I would recommend it.

Summary: a great gift for Thomas lovers
Review: We received this as a gift for my then 2.5 year old. I thought it might be too old for him, but he has loved hearing us read from it. The stories are short enough to hold his attention and almost always have a "lesson" to learn in them. Although sometimes the lessons seem somewhat "harsh" or mean, but then it is written in a very old-fashioned, British tone. This big book is a favorite with our family at bedtime, and my 15-month old son is even reaching for the thick book and begging to look at the train pictures. It's a great way for the kids to learn the different characters in the Thomas series.
