Summary: Every child should read these books!
Review: These books are fantastic! I got the set when I was 8, and I have loved them dearly. These books not only teach children the history of the American people, but of love, and of fear, and of hardships, and of the value of family. These books are must-read.

Summary: From one generation to the next
Review: We were introduced to the Ingalls family many years ago through the Little House series on TV. Our children grew up along with Laura, Mary and the rest of the Ingalls family. We never missed a weekly program. And so it was with the Little House books, we have read, and reread, every one of them. So last Christmas it was time to get my granddaughter her own set of Little House books. She too has eagerly read them and enjoyed them immensely. We will continue to enjoy these heartwarming stories of our yesteryears pioneers for many years - and generations - to come.

Summary: My Favorite Series
Review: I got my first set of Little House Books when I was 8. I read through all of them from start to finish and loved everyone of them. One day while surfing Amazon's site, I found out the series was continued with Laura's daughter Rose. So here I am, 24, running to the childrens section buying the whole new series. I was so happy that someone took the time to expand the books I almost cried. I always had wondered what happened to the Ingalls/Wilder family. My 16 year old, dog eared copies of the original series will go with my brand new Rose books, to my daughter someday. They are on my bookshelf!

Summary: My All-Time Favorite Books
Review: After collecting all the Little House books, one at a time, when I was a little girl and reading them over and over, until they had to be taped together, I was thrilled, as a 32-year-old, to find the entire collection in a boxed set. I was delighted to find that the stories had lost none of their charm. In fact, some of the things that puzzled me when I was a child, such as the romance between Laura and Almanzo, took on an entirely new meaning. Just owning these books once again gives me a warm fuzzy. The stories teach wonderful life lessons that are just as applicable today as the were in the 1800s. This set is the perfect gift for anyone...old and new readers alike.

Summary: Childhood lessons on morality and life with the earth
Review: I began reading this series in Elementary school. Now I've read it again as I finish college. This series encompasses lessons which affect every life, in its beginning, in its middle, and in its end too. This books represents the simpleness of life before technology changed the world we live in. It is a wonderful history of everyday life and should be cherished and loved forever.

Summary: These are my favorite books
Review: This is my favorite book series! Right now I am reading "On The Banks Of Plum Creek." I especially like these books because I am very interested in Pioneers. These books really give you a feeling of pioneer life. These books make you want to jump back in time to the ninteenth century. I really like it because the author made Laura, (the main charictar in the book), mischovous and not a goody goody like most authors make children in historical books act. I really recomend the Little House series.

Summary: A COLLECTION EVERY CHILD SHOULD HAVE
Review: When I was in the third grade, I read my first Laura Ingalls Widler book,"Little Town on the Prairie" in two sittings (I didn't read them in order:). I told my mother as soon as I finished the last chapter. She was so proud that the next day she bought me the entire Little House series. I am 20 years old and still have that collection on my bookshelf. I plan to give those books to my daughter when she is old enough to read them. This is a collection every child should have, or every family should have as an heirloom.

Summary: My favorite book series.
Review: I grew up right along with Laura Ingalls Wilder. The Little House books became my outlet for adventure. I enjoyed Laura Ingalls Wilder's bravery, her trials and tribulations and her ability to cope with any situation. I will be giving this set to my child for Christmas this year and hoping that she will enjoy the timeless tales as much as I have for the past 22 years.
