Summary: My son's favorite book
Review: I bought this book for my son when he was only 4 months old. He loved it then and it's still his favorite book a year later. Each page only has a few words - perfect for little one's who just want to turn the pages. He loves looking under the flaps. The flaps are starting to get a little worn, but when I ask my son if he wants me to read him a book this is the first one he grabs. Only warning - when I first bought it for him he would have me read it 10+ times a sitting until I finally distracted him with another toy, he loved it that much.

Summary: Cute book, but too simple for my 20 month old
Review: I purchased this book online due to the excellent reviews it received, but when I got it in the mail I was disappointed by its simplicity. My 20 month old son has been "reading" since he was 4 months old and I thought this book would be fun for him as he learned more body parts such as his, elbows, chin, knees, etc., but it is very basic. It teaches hands, eyes, belly button, mouth, and feet. One positive feautre of this book that I did not expect to find was the ethnic diversity of the children illustrated in the book. Overall, this book may be best suited for 18 months and younger although if my son read it when he was younger he may still enjoy it at 20 months.

Summary: Delightful and Enjoyable!
Review: this is a beautiful and educational little book that i highly recommend. once your baby finds his/her bellybutton, he/she may want to sing drum tunes or play drums. for this, find a very fun bilingual picturebook (4-8)called, DRUM,CHAVI,DRUM!/TOCA,CHAVI,TOCA! (it's written in both Spanish and English!) and when your baby is in middle grade,he/she may want to check out every book by LEMONY SNICKET. But of course, finding his/her bellybutton comes first!

Summary: BEST BOOK WE OWN
Review: THIS HAS BEEN MY SON'S FAVORITE BOOK SINCE HE WAS BORN AND THE FIRST HE REACHED OUT TO TOUCH. AT 12 MONTHS OLD, IT'S NOW ONE OF THE ONLY BOOKS HE'LL SIT STILL FOR!!! HE LOVES TO LIFT THE FLAPS TO SEE WHAT'S HIDING UNDERNEATH. THIS IS A VERY STURDY AND FUN BOOK FOR A WIGGLING, SQUIRMING 12 MONTH OLD BOY!!!

Summary: fun to read
Review: This book is a favorite with my 2 year old and my 3 and 1/2 year old. The flaps are big enough that my younger one can easily lift them. The illustrations are just adorable and my kids always want to read it over and over again!

Summary: my daughter loves this book
Review: The drawings are cute and the flaps are surprisingly durable (though they definitely wear). We got this book for my daughter at 7 months and she loved it. We're still reading it daily at 10 months.

Summary: Great for learning those body parts
Review: I got his for my daughter when she was abotu 20 months, and learning body parts. She learned to say many new parts that I thought she wouldn't be able to do, like Back and Elbow. She loves the lift the flapping, but some of the flaps are abnormal shaped, and can get ripped easily.

Summary: Enjoyable Illustrations, but...
Review: I bought this book because it came highly recommemnded and was one of AZ's best sellers. The only suggestion I have is that be careful giving this book to a toddler to look at themselves. Since the book has flaps that reveal "Where things are" they are easily ripped out. My daughter is 11 months old and I thought this would the perfect introduction to books. This may be considered a little young but she absolutely LOVES books and likes turning pages. That is why we opt for board books in the very beginning because the pages can be easily turned and are more durable than regular childrens'[paper] books. My only warning is if you do buy this book and your child likes to tear/pull things, beware. Or just wait until they are older and know not to. Otherwise, you are in for alot of ripped flaps.

Summary: Great First Book!
Review: This is my one-year-old daughter's favorite book. It has been her favorite since she was 3 months old! It has always made her laugh with its adorable pictures! Great gift for a new baby.

Summary: Flaps are fun!
Review: My 1 year old daughter absolutely loves this book! In just a few weeks the flaps look old and worn but nothing has torn yet. The book is pretty good when it comes to teaching where body parts are (belly button, hands, eyes, etc.). It is fun for everyone to find out where baby's belly button is in the book and then point it out on your baby.
