Summary: My granddaughter's favorite book
Review: I bought this book based on the reviews and gave it to my 5 month-old granddaughter for Christmas. Everyone promptly forgot about the book until another mother recommended it to my daughter. Their two babies got very excited when they looked at the pages, their eyes wide, delight showing on their faces. I can't explain why babies seem to get excited over this book, but it's now our granddaughter's favorite book.

Summary: oh my!
Review: this book is very colorful... the illistrations are very bright.... my two year old loves books and i purchased this one becuase it came recomended by his speech theropist, however, the flaps are easily torn becasue they are paper... cardbaord books are better for smaller children. It only holds his attention for a very limited time and my three year old won't even attempt to look at it... i know all children are diffrent, and i hope you children likes it better than mine do.

Summary: Toddlers Love Belly Buttons
Review: "Where is Baby's Belly Button" is a perfect book for toddlers as long as you don't allow them to destroy the pages. My 7 and 8 year old love "Drum, Chavi, Drum!" and read it to my toddler. For hours the three of them entertain themselves with this bilingual rhythmic book. My twelve-year-old girl adores, "A Step From Heaven." I highly recommend these three books.

"Where is Baby's Belly Button" has adorable illustrations. A must buy!

Summary: My daughter's favorite book!
Review: I purchased this book as I was setting up my daughter's nursery library before she was born. I was immediately attracted to the simplicity of the text, strong construction, and big, brightly colored, eye-catching illustrations. I began reading it to my daughter at age 4 months. She is now 10 months old and absolutely loves this book! When she sees me take it out of her closet her eyes light up and she literally squeals with delight. We read it at least 5 times each night. She now is able to lift the flaps on the book and anticipates the ending question, "Where is baby?". I am just about to purchase the entire collection of books written and illustrated by Karen Katz for my daughter's 1 year birthday. She is a brilliant author and illustrator. This book is a must have for any baby/child.

Summary: One of my son's favorites
Review: My one year old son received this book as a birthday present and he loves it! The pictures are colorful but he especially likes lifting the flaps himself to see what's underneath. I'm sure he will be rough with the flaps, this book will not be one that is passed along, but it will be well loved along the way.

Summary: Fun for 16 mos old, but lifting up a shirt?
Review: My son loves these flap books. The only thing I find weird is that you are lifting up another kids shirt even thought only the belly button shows underneath.

Summary: #1 Baby Book from 2 months to 2 years
Review: Baby loves this "peek a boo" concept and has been able to interact by lifting the flaps from about 2 months old. Now that he is almost two years the flaps are getting roughed up but we have definitely got our money's worth.

Great illustrations, great flaps that are cut in interesting shapes, and lots of vocabulary opportunities as well as hand coordination.

Summary: Love this book!
Review: My son got this as a first birthday present. We read it over and over every day. He already knew a few of his body parts, but this has helped him learn more. He likes to point to the different items on each page too (wagon, ball, etc.) As mentioned in other reviews, the flaps are not as sturdy as the cardboard pages. A little tape is all it takes to fix that though! Overall, this is an excellent book for babies and toddlers!
