Rating: Summary: My 3 month old loves it! Review: My 3 month old loves this book. The colorful pages capture her attention. And she loves getting kissed and I love giving the kisses! I'm going to buy this book as a part of every new baby gift I give.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful combination of reading and counting and kissing! Review: My daughter (2 yrs old) and son (1 yr old) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! It is so much fun to read it and to kiss them both from head to toe as described in the book. Great way to introduce counting and to enjoy reading together while interacting in the best way possible--kisses and giggles!
Rating: Summary: Great starter book Review: My daughter has just begun exploring books and this book along with all of Karen Katz books she now loves! Each night before bed we now have to read our counting kisses. Keep it up Karen.
Rating: Summary: Love and numbers Review: My daughter is not quite two and she loves this story - she always pulls it out of her bookshelf - especially at night. The pictures are so big and bright. It really appeals to her on a lot of different levels: - She can point to her own body parts to show where the baby is getting her kisses. - She can count along with each page. - She can identify many characters in the book (mommy, daddy, baby, puppy, etc). - And she loves the kissing! The store is just so much fun - even if you don't do the kissing bit with your own child there is still so much to benefit from this tale!
Rating: Summary: My 18 month old daughter's favorite! Review: My daughter loves this book! She requests it almost every night. The pictures are brightly colored, which she seems to enjoy. As I read, she points to her toes, feet, knees,... whatever is being kissed.
Rating: Summary: Learn body parts and counting Review: My daughter loves this book, and I think it helped her learn her body parts. Now that she knows her body parts, she points to the numbers and is learning them. It's a great bedtime book because the excitement level decreases toward the end.
Rating: Summary: My 18-month-old daughter's favorite book! (m) Review: She kisses the picture of the baby, and points to whatever part on her body is being kissed in the book. She LOVES this book - it's really adorable.
Rating: Summary: Cute, but boring Review: The book and illustrations are adorable, but they do not hold my 2 year old daughters attention at all.
Rating: Summary: Perfect for older siblings to "help" read to new baby! Review: This book is a big hit with our toddler. She loves to "read" it to her new brother. As the title suggests, there's lots of counting, kissing and everybody gets a turn. While the story is simple and the text is short, this can be a half hour bedtime event at our house.
Rating: Summary: Its a wondeful book for children Review: This is a lovely book for young children regardless of the other reviewers negative comment of the iluustrations. People should keep in mind that its for children not for Art Experts! The artwork is kept simple and on the level of little ones to appreciate. Also, the story keeps them interested with the many wonderful & familiar characters and the kisses helps them become a part of it all. I have 3 children that are 9, 7, & 2yrs old and they all love it. The olders ones read it to the younger one.
